Jeff's line tonight 37 Pts, 12/21 FGs, 4/5 Threes, 9/9 FTs, 5 Boards, 4 Asst's, 54 Minutes Pretty darn impressive in a 3 OT win! Indeed. This is Jeff's best showing in awhile. I wonder if he also had to guard Lopez at times in the game. |

And Greg Monroe had 15 & 8 in 30 minutes in Detroit's (blowout) loss to Miami. I did a doubletake when I saw Monroe's name on the scroll. |

Jeff had been fouled on a 3 at the end of the 2nd OT.
down 3, calmly stepped up and drained all 3 to extend it. Just like his old PG.

Jeff had been fouled on a 3 at the end of the 2nd OT. down 3, calmly stepped up and drained all 3 to extend it. Just like his old PG. Its worth watching the highlight of the game just to see Jeff take the 3 pointer, get hacked, and somehow almost make the shot. He almost had to shoot the ball one handed he was fouled so badly and the ball hit the rim, the backboard, and circled the rim before it rolled out. |

I am very pleased for Jeff that he performed so well in Durant's absence. I feel it must be mentioned, though, that with Durant out, he started at the 3. As much as I love how he plays with Durant and Westbrook and how that young team looks, I have to wonder if we wouldn't see a little more of this were he starting all the time at the 3.
Also, it drives me nuts how little respect Jeff gets for his work on that team. The headline for the recap of the game on ESPN.com reads "Westbrook, Durant-less Thunder nip Nets in 3 OT." Westbrook was terrific, but shouldn't Jeff be getting mentioned instead of "Durant-less"?

Jeff played the four a lot in that game, esp since Ibaka fouled out. When he piled it on in the 3Q he was at the 4.
But I think we agree that he is more effective at the 3, which is where he prob would play if Thunder don't resign him end of yr. Maybe Ted gets his fellow alum to come to the Wizards:)

The statistics say that so far in his career Jeff has been better offensively at the 4, but struggled defensively. Conversely, he has struggled offensively at the 3 but been better on defense.
