Jeff Green currently at -19 for the game against the clippers. Here's hoping he doesn't repeat the -25 from the other night.

Jeff Green currently at -19 for the game against the clippers. Here's hoping he doesn't repeat the -25 from the other night. This one's not on Jeff, he's probably had the best game of any Thunder player tonight. I'm the biggest Durant fan there is, but this one is squarely on him. You can't have your best player go 5-22, 0-10 from 3 with 6 TOs and expect to win on the road in the NBA. It doesn't matter who you're playing.

have you seen Chris Wright's leg growth while at Georgetown- it's called dedication to getting the most out of what you got. Wright's always been built like a RB--so his development has been different--if anything--he needed to be less bulky and more flexible/fluid in upper body.

Jeff Green currently at -19 for the game against the clippers. Here's hoping he doesn't repeat the -25 from the other night. Jeff had 17 at Half and they were in game--and then.......it's typical of Jeff's scoring--when he's going well--seems like it never continues--and dont' know if that's due to not getting the ball/looks or him being passive. Probably a combination but I didn't see the game, so dont' know.

Durant has never seen a shot he didn't like. No matter how close those two are, it must be discouraging for the team when Durant has an off-night, does not (want to) recognize it and shoots instead of passing the ball.

More strength? Sure. More lift? Its not necessary. He is almost as tall as Duncan who has less lift. So it comes down to technique, plain and simple. He needs to go quicker, be stronger and adjust according to the new level of talent he's going up against. Good points. I don't see any indication why that improvement won't happen.

Green with 19 & 9, with nice inbounds save to retain possession in last 15 seconds in 107-106 OT win over Portland.

Good game by Jeff. Had tough matchups defensively (Aldridge+ Batum). A quiet 19pts but really picked up his team at key spots (they were down 13 at a certain point). The offense still flows through Westbrook/Durant, but when he was given the opportunity Jeff made plays. None bigger than the out of bounds play in last 15 seconds SSHoya mentions - not only corralling it but looking behind him to get it to Durant on the other half of the court. Also 5-5 at the stripe (the Thunder shot 92.3% at line - important when you want to win games by 1pt).

I'm glad Jeff finished the game well. I watched the first half and his defense was...let's say, for the sake of not using a profanity...lackluster. He got burned more than once with alley oops where his man just went to the rim and he didn't stay on him. It may have been a match-up issue, but it also looked a little like he was following the NBA's "no need to care about defense until the 4th quarter" policy, too. But as I said, glad he finished strong and they got the W.

No it was called Jeff cant guard LaMarcus Aldridge who his 3 inches taller than him and much longer, they quickly switched him on to Camby from the 2nd Q on. As much as being on OKC means Jeff might get a sniff at a title, man do i want him off that team so he can play the 3,lol.

Jeff can't buy a three thus far this year(14%), but he's putting up 19 a game.

Also glad Jeff finished strong. Watched the first quarter and I think 10 of the first 12 Portland points were scored on him. He did hit a few mid-range jumpers on the O end to make up for it though.

6 Rebs (3 Orebs), 2 assists, 2 blocks complement Roy's 14 pts.

As much as being on OKC means Jeff might get a sniff at a title, man do i want him off that team so he can play the 3,lol. The problem is that while his defense is much better at the 3, his offense gets worse since he doesn't get as many open Js and can't beat 3s off the dribble.

14pts in 16min. But didn't score for rest of game. But only took 4 shots second half. They need to give him ball more or he needs to be aggressive.
