"The last two games he’s had 11 assists and three turnovers. I say we’re going to go through Roy (offensively) because he’s a unique big man. He’s growing almost on a daily basis.” – O'Brien on Roy Hibbert

lead team in assists each of last two games. Good for Roy..but I guess rest of the pacers should step it up?
Apparently Collison and him have good chemistry and Roy gets more pts when he is in game, but veteran TJ Ford is getting a lot of minutes since he does a better job defensively on the whole...

Roy's averages thru 3 games: 18 pts, 10 bds, 4.7 assists, 2.7 blocks.
If he's consistent in those numbers, All-Star?

Uphill battle for All Star game even if this keeps up - with two Centers usually on the team and both Stoudamire and Howard from last year's roster likely candidates. Others in the mix would probably be Brook Lopez, Joakim Noah, Al Horford and Bogut.

is stoudamire a center? But you're right he's no lock, and it'll take a lot to make the team, but i think his personality will really help. You can't help but love this guy.

Stoudamire was the West's Center for last year's All-Star team. I dunno how they decide these things, but he isn't the knicks center this yr and lopez was the Sun's center last year.

He's off to a great start but can't see him ahead of Howard, Stoudemire and Lopez if all those guys remain healthy.

Greg Monroe with 10 rebounds and 2 assists, but no points in 18 minutes in another Pistons loss. Summers with 7 points and 2 rebounds in 14 minutes.

Watching the game, Greg trying to finish at the rim against garnett was a painful thing to watch. At least six of those rebounds came off Greg getting his stuff sent back to his face and trying to finish again....He really needs some strength, and more lift, but that ain't gonna come

More strength? Sure. More lift? Its not necessary. He is almost as tall as Duncan who has less lift. So it comes down to technique, plain and simple. He needs to go quicker, be stronger and adjust according to the new level of talent he's going up against.

Like Hibbert before him--Greg's got to get stronger in his base/lower leg strength--don't know what Hoyas do Strength and conditioning wise--but it's a massive failure to see the lack of development in their leg strength---and it's nothing that a fancy weight room is needed for--you just focus on leg strength/explosion when working on your legs. If you have squat rack, do calf raises, leg extensions, leg presses, it takes about a month to improve and makes you wonder what goes on in offseason workouts??
Amazingly--you become more explosive, quicker, have stronger base to prevent defenders from pushing you out when they lean/root you out of post, and makes you get up quicker. Not too difficult to alternate during lifting sessions-but seems like a lot of the guys would rather have "camera" muscles aka nice biceps that look good-but dont' really help them functionally on the court as much as stronger leg strength would.

have you seen Chris Wright's leg growth while at Georgetown- it's called dedication to getting the most out of what you got.
