That quote sounds a lot more negative than I think he meant it to be.

"He's gone from a guy we were constantly trying to develop to more of a guy that we have to kind of run our offense through . . . in the high post to utilize his passing ability and shooting ability, and in the low post to put pressure point blank on teams," coach Jim O'Brien said.
Wow, I wonder where he got that idea from? Jim O'Brien must truly be some kind of coaching genius.

Hibbert dropped 22 pounds this summer - going from 14 percent body fat to 8.5 - and is noticeably quicker on his feet.
``I just want to keep building and keep learning and get my conditioning up,'' he said. ``I read that some players get nights off and I don't want that. I just want to keep working, keep building my wind so I can play 35 minutes a game. I've never played that many minutes in my life.''
Six assists too last night as they were double teaming him in the 2nd half and he would pass to the open guy.

Agreed but there is something to be said that Durant and Westbrook are both urging the Thunder to re-sign Green. Those 3 love playing together and have built this team up from nothing. It just makes sense to keep them together for the next few year or two or three and see what damage they can do in the West

"Re-signing Green is far from a no-brainer, not with Westbrook and Harden looking like studs and Ibaka looming." I like Harden, but what's he done to show he's going to be a stud player?

I agree. I think the emergence of Ibaka is a much bigger issue.

Agree that for OKC GM, resigning Jeff would be a smart move, but if that doesn't happen, wouldn't mind him coming back to DC to play with the Wizards.

Pat scocred 5 pts in 4 minutes last night in his first NBA action. not sure if 5 pts in 4 mins is "good", but it took Rautins 22 mins to score 5, so we have some pt of comparison. Pat was +8, Rautins -13.
Roy had 14 in a stinker v Chicago, Pacers just sucked.
DaJuan and Grag combined for 12 pts in 35 minutes, Monroe had 6 rebs and 2 stls also.
Bring on the ral NBA season

Patrick Ewing Jr.The Knicks have to reduce their roster by one, to 15 players, by Monday at 6 p.m. With the second-round selections Landry Fields and Andy Rautins assured spots, the final cut is between Patrick Ewing Jr. and Shawne Williams. Ewing was one of the Knicks’ final cuts two years ago. Donnie Walsh selected Williams in the first round in 2006, when both were with the Pacers. Ewing has played twice in the Knicks’ last five preseason games, missing both of his shot attempts. Williams is 2 for 4 in that span in 12 total minutes.

Pat will stick to it, and I have no doubt that he'll find a spot in the NBA. Regardless, his jersey belongs on the McDonough wall.
