Stupid wizards, it would've helped them to lose this game and they go and win. Typical wizards, can't even suck properly. Great game for roy. Don't know why he wasn't in at the end to win the game for them unless the pacers were throwing the game to screw the wizards.

The Knicks couldn't have been an 8th seed in '99. There would have been more hoopla over them beating a #1 seed in the first round if that was the case. Or is my memory failing me? Don't you remember them beating Zo and the #1 seed Heat?

Allan Houston's shot that hit everything including the kitchen sink before dropping.

The idea that DaJuan was drafted to play the 4 in the NBA after showing no aptitude for the position in 3 years at Georgetown is pretty absurd.

Jeff missed a game-tying three-pointer at the buzzer, and the Thunder lose 95-92 to the Lakers. They are down 2-0 as the series heads towards Oklahoma City.
If Jeff made that shot, it would have forgiven him for what is so far a dreadful shooting performance in the playoffs. Now, he hasn't been playing TERRIBLY - yesterday he scored 12 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, a steal, only one turnover, and 7-7 from the line. He made a key lay-up with less than 20 seconds left that drew the Thunder within one. Problem was, he shot 2-11 from the field, and 1-6 from three. This was after a pretty bad shooting performance in game one as well - 4-12 shooting for 10 points. It has been a sub-par performance from Jeff in his playoff debut so far.
Like Durant, Green has settled more for jump shots than going to the hole, which I would like to see change. He did, however, get to the line seven times in Game 2. Also, as announcers have picked up on, Green has spent a good amount of time defending both Bryant and Gasol, two of the best players in the league. That is a tough assignment.
After losing by a combined ten points in two games on the road to the 1-seed and defending champion Lakers, I think the Thunder have a chance in Game 3. They looked better in Game 2. In either game I never felt like the Lakers lost control or were ever really scared, even when the Thunder took a short-lived lead late last night. But the Thunder have proven they can play with them on this stage.

That wasn't a layup Jeff hit to get within one - that was a very tough shot. Overall, though, yeah it's been a pretty mediocre performance for Jeff so far. Wasn't a bad look he had for that 3. I agree that guarding both Gasol and Kobe doesn;t make it any easier...

Yeah I couldn't remember if it was a lay-up or not, but it was from close-in, not a jumper.
If Jeff had made the three, a very good look set up by a nice screen, it would have definitely made staying up until 1:30am to watch the end of that game totally worth it... oh well. Keep at it, Jeff.

was at the game last night and it was very frustrating watching jeff play out of position. he jumps center, has to guard gasol most of the game, and when he isn't guarding centers has to match up with Kobe which is the toughest match up in the league. I thought he's done a pretty good job on kobe allbeit he has been biting on the pump fake.

Yeah, Jeff has his work cut out for him. Gasol is a terrible match up for him, and to then have to shift to Kobe? Ugh. It's no wonder his performance on the offensive end has been lacking.
I have to admit, though, I was happy he missed that last shot. I didn't want any part of overtime. It's really hard for me watching the Lakers play the Thunder, as I have to root against my favorite Hoya of recent years and a Bruin who I also liked a lot.

Jeff pretty much a non-entity tonite. Only 28 minutes, benched most of 4th quarter. Body language not good, sitting while teammates standing to urge on the team. Did finally get in and get a couple of rebounds late. Thunder winning without a good game from Jeff a good sign. Here's hoping he turns it around in game 4.

Lakers length not a good match up for Jeff. Thunder need Ibaka, Kristic, Durant, Harden and Westbrook on the floor to beat Lakers. Westbrook becoming a star in this series.

Jeff being awesome tonight 14pts right now including an amazing reverse lay up. Grabbing rebounds taking charges and getting praised by the announcing crew.
Talked about how he came from that unique Georgetown system and how we have another great one in greg monroe coming out. Jeff's making us proud tonight.
