Amen HSB Jeff started off a little slow with 3 points in the first half but had a great third quarter making all sorts of big plays. Love the OKC Thunder

Thunder are officially my fav NBA team. I hope they keep this group together long enough to win a championship. And Jeff definitely got some love from the announcers. A very nice Georgetown shout-out.

Jeff had a great game. There were probably 4-5 threes of his that were literally IN AND OUT. Had those fallen, he would have had an absolute monster game.
Needless to say he did all the right things on both ends of the court.

Watching the games, one thing that is very clear about Jeff Green's game is that the JTIII approach of calm determination is deeply rooted in him. He doesn't get overly up or down about what happens - he just keeps playing hard. He made multiple hustle plays on both ends last night.

Needless to say he did all the right things on both ends of the court. Great game? No. Too many open shots missed and a couple of plays in which he drove but he wasn't able to convert. But he played well in most other areas of the game and kept playing hard even when the shots weren't going in. That is what's important.

i don't think you can ever classify a 5-17 shooting night as a great game unless you have a triple double in blocks, rebounds and assists or something.
However, Jeff kept with it and made some key plays in the second half. He also played 38 minutes, the most of any Thunder player, so it is clear to me that Jeff is an integral component of that team's engine stats aside.
Come on OKC! Shock the world!
By the way, awesome pic of Jeff on the front of cnnsi.com right now.

I wouldn't say he had a great game but he had a great 3rd quarter when the Thunder expanded the lead and deflated the Lakers hopes for a comeback. As the series has gone on Jeff has gotten better at forcing Gasol to get the ball farther out than he wants it. Jeff outscored and outrebounded Gasol.

Harden isn't a better player than Jeff. Harden was nowhere to be seen during the first two games of this series, and benefitted from the home crowd. I expect Harden to do nothing tomorrow. Which isn't a huge shock for a rookie. Harden was a very high pick (higher than Jeff) and should ultimately be a very good player.
I've been a big fan of this Thunder team all year, and while I certainly hope they lose this series (even though I predicted them to win), I'm looking forward to seeing how they develop in the future.

Alright Jeff time to bring the A game tonight in LA and pile up the shout outs from the announcers. A few Georgetown shout outs don't hurt either. If I'm staying up til 1 am to watch I'm hoping for a W. Go Thunder!

I want OKC to win also, but if they do, Stern is going to be really nervous.

Jeff absolutely needs to come up big for the Thunder tonight. On a team that young, Jeff actually provides a measure of veteran leadership at 23 years of age. The front court of OKC has played well all series, Durant is Durant and Westbrook has just been torching Derek Fisher, as I expected. But the Thunder need a 3rd scorer tonight, and with Harden still being a rookie, it's time for Jeff to step up and have his big game tonight.

Jeff Green had a very solid game tonight in the game 6 loss to the Lakers... too bad nobody on the team seems to know how to box out and they have no discernable offense.

Gotta give credit where credit is due. Fisher, Kobe, Artest, Bynum and Gasol is a tough 5 to run an offense and rebound effectively against.

True enough, but you could have driven a panzer tank through the non-boxout by Ibaka and Collison that Gasol waltzed through for the winning hoop.

They also should have pushed the ball on their last possession and taken a quicker shot to ensure they would get the ball back. Giving the Lakers (Kobe) the ball down 1 with a chance for the game winning shot was not the ideal situation.

Jeff had a good game. Sucks they lost. Lakers were just making shots and durant couldn't buy a bucket for most of the game.

I think what I took away from this series is that this OKC team is a top-level center away from being a potential dynasty, or at least a year-in and year-out contender. I hope this core hangs together for 5 more years. It could be a lot of fun to watch. And their fan base obviously really appreciates them. Even after a heartbreaking loss, they really gave the Thunder players a very nice send-off.
