Jeff should have taken the last shot last night instead of Durant. He would have made it and he doesn't "get" all the calls so the refs may have called the foul they did not call on Durant. That was a makeup noncall after Garnett likened him getting all the calls to Michael Jordan last week. Especially after Jeff hit that big three at the end of regulation, and the Vandy-like runner near the end of OT. Shoulda gone to the game.

Durant definitely should've gotten the shot. He had 45 in the game, was absolutely on fire and DREW CONTACT that should have been called and would've won the game, given that he's a 90% foul shooter. I'm still Editeded.

Main OKC blog on why Green should get the clutch shot opportunities...and a song. www.dailythunder.com/2010/04/peace-love-and-thunderstanding-can-ya-dig-it/#more-9169Who¡¯s the 6¡ä9¡å guy in the post that hits the shots when needed most? Green! You¡¯re damn right! When the games on the line who blocks the shot from behind? Green! Can ya dig it? During overtime with only five ticks who banks it in in front of all the chicks? Green! Right on¡ That Green is a clutch mutha¨C (Boy shut yo mouth) But I¡¯m talkin¡¯ bout Green (Then we can dig it) He makes a nightly contribution that gets overlooked by even the biggest fan (Jeff Green)

Jeff and the Oklahoma City Thunder will play the Memphis Grizzlies in their final game of the regular season tonight at 8pm EST. The game is on ESPN, check it out.
OKC has assured itself the lowly 8-seed, despite a 49-32 record (damn, the West is tough), and will face the top-seeded, defending champion Lakers in the first round. Of course this is bad from an "advancing in the playoffs" standpoint. However, I think it can be good from an "exposure" standpoint. I have a feeling that, because it's the Lakers, their games will be in prime time on ESPN/ABC, and if they win some games - look out, they could be the story of the first round, at least.

Also great from an experience perspective. This is a VERY young team. (Durant 21, Westbrook 21, Jeff 23, Harden 20, Ibaka 20, Maynor 22) It should be huge for them to see exactly what it takes to win an NBA title against the defending champs, and the class of the West.

The good news is that the Thunder have played the Lakers closely before. The bad news is that the Lakers were played closely by the Thunder. If they get that upset then I have high hopes for them for the rest of the playoffs.

Roy. Big Jeff. Even Summers having nice regular season finales.
The Thunder-Lakers playoff series is the most exciting 1-8 matchup in a long time

29 and 7 for Big Roy tonight to close out the season...I think he is really establishing himself as one of the better center's in the NBA for years to come

I believe the only other 8 seed to win was Golden State against Dallas in 2007

The Knicks couldn't have been an 8th seed in '99. There would have been more hoopla over them beating a #1 seed in the first round if that was the case. Or is my memory failing me?
