Article on ESPN about the scrimmage without gving away too much info. It was written from a UNC perspective, but the one thing it did say was that it was good that they got to face a good ZONE D by gtown against them. Perhaps look for this more this year?? Would make sense with all our length.

Long lanky guys and... no dependable, proven big man in the middle. So a zone might help mitigate that and make it harder to complete that entry pass -- you know, the one we always seem to have so much trouble making even when we have guys like Roy and Greg in the middle.

Also, I did ask Coach at the GU-Occupy Wall St. Alliance meeting in NYC a few weeks ago. OH! Wait, no... it was the GU-Wall St. Alliance.
Anyway, I asked coach if the freshmen would be playing SIGNIFICANT minutes... not just appearing... AND.. if that meant we would run more and press more. His answer was "Yes, Yes to all of that."

So, Lic, I think you are on to something... and you've seen them play in Kenner and in China. (which somehow got misnamed in NYC as CANADA!... Coach then made a little joke about given what happend, he wished instead the team HAD gone to Canada!)

I'll say it again. I think this is going to be a VERY exciting year for GU hoops with some big upsets! And a few disappointments too. But with expectations lowered, we are going to be delighted with a very talented and "Eager" young team that will play with top level energy, every time out!
