that UNC poster has to be trolling.
Dont' see those tweets/post anywhere and I can't imagine Nate saying anyone was unimpressive or Jason saying an opponent would have been better off out on the town the night before.
Greg did say on FB that he didn't know the score because the score kept being reset (which is true for these scrimmages)

Let's not press for too much information or bait players through twitter to provide insight. There is a gentlemen's agreement between coaches of these scrimmages to NOT reveal the results.

Guessing those idiots on Carolinas site overracted....Kendall and Jason were teammates in high school at O'Connell....so its not like doesn't know him r something....he might just be poking fun at one incident in the scrimmage...maybe he crossed Kendall up or something, hard to say, but its not like he doesnt know Kendall obviously.

Glad that our first game (scrimmage) stateside came against one of the Elite. Our boys are going into the season with confidence and thats perfect! The major advantages for an older team are experience and confidence, awesome that we have it already going into the season with such a young/energetic team!! Plus great to see that both Hopkins and Jabril realize there is ALWAYS room for improvement and weaknesses to be worked on. The members of this Freshman class each bring a lot to the table and I am excited to see them together, both on the court and in their demeanor. I hope that JTIII does lift the freshman media silence sooner, rather then later! PS I may be stretching, but I can't help but thinking that Kendall's tweet about friends could be a result from seeing old DC friends or the chemistry our F-F have already. Time to start shaking off that snow and get ready for another incredible season of Hoya basketball!! NO ONE knows where this team will go, or what their limits are, but thats why we all love college basketball! good write up, but one thing speak yourself on the "no one know where this team may end up!" Well, I do! lol LETS GO HOYAS!!

That UNC poster is lying through his teeth. Tyler Adams hasn't tweeted since July Tyler has a new twitter account (tyleradams0) and he does post about the scrimmage, saying we did well, but no tweet about losing by 7.

"I am not sure if the GT tweets were bogus or not, but this quote comes from mr. tiger, a legit insider.
"I think I should be brief. Don't know how much I should or shouldn't say. We won all quarters except 1. The one we lost was a zone quarter which we lost 10-6. I think it was 7 quarters. No one was great and no one was bad. The scrimmage was a 5 possesions for you and 5 for me type of set up. I think we went full court for only 2 quarters. Jason Clark for Gtown played well, but no one else really stood out for them. We are early in the season and still trying to learn about the new guys. Remember, we won't be great now, but will be in March.""
Take with a grain of salt.

I love that the freshmen recognize what needs to be worked on and seem excited to work on those very things. Also, how freaking cool is it that Big Roy is in touch with the freshman (even if only via twitter) and staying involved? It's what I love most about our program. Let's get after it Hoyas!!!

That grain of salt should be the format of the scrimmage. Regardless of the accuracy of the UNC poster, these closed scrimmages are rarely just a normal game. They have set up situations and scenarios, so you cant necessarily translate that to a game. The chance that starting 5 from UNC went against gtown starting 5 for very long is pretty low.
