So, is there any way I can get these GU session tickets for less than the $333 deal on the Maui Invitational website? That is a lot and I'm only going to be in Maui for the first two days of the tournament.

I'll just add that from what I can tell, Maui booster tickets are not Big-East style "Session" tickets that entitle the holder to a doubleheader of games. I think that they actually vacate the booster sections between each game and allow the other boosters into those seats. At least that was my impression when I bought them for this year, i.e. that my Georgetown booster ticket will entitle me to 3 total games.

I was there five years ago when UCLA won it. A session ticket got you two games. They were about $50 each session back then, This is an ESPN event, and I went to the Old Spice and the Charleston Classic and they were both ESPN events and the same set up.

Right, and that seems kinda ridiculous to pay $111 each per georgetown game ... I guess they sell it is as the "championship" round, but come on. I'll probably buy them anyway, but won't be happy about it, especially if georgetown somehow miraculously wins its first two games and i miss the championship final.

I guess it wasn't that long of a shot after all. Thanks for the tickets and allowing me to post on your board. Good luck in Maui. I'll be at the Kapalua Golf Villas with a KU flag flying off my lanai if anyone wants to stop by to chat.

hey Kansas, UCLA is in the same bracket, that means that the first two days they play in the same session, call them, I did and got a pair of tix for my adult kids. Like I said you guys aren't too smart about things that are outside your state. They call a hoedown in HI a rock sock jayhawk thrashing. HOYA SAXAl When I went to the Maui Invitational in 2007, each game was its own session. They emptied out the gym after every game and then let the fans of the next two teams playing in. A ticket = one game. JS

Kansas was willing to pay to play. That's a slanderous rumor that's completely unsubstantiated except for all the times it's been proven true!!

JS, the money grabbers. When I went I bought all sessiona tickets for all 12 games for $296. I would sit behind the Memphis or UCLA bench- two rows back. The next yaer I went to the Old Spice and it was the same thing - 6 sessions for $296, but no one in the building. I just assumed trhat it would be that way this year in Maui. Looks like my kids get to watch UCLA that week only. But my son in law is a wheeler dealer, so it will be interesting what he does to see his new love- our HOYAs.
