Has anybody gotten word about tickets from the ticket office? I haven't heard anything, and will likely check into the public sale tomorrow.

yes, it's by donor level. The public sale will be for all 6 sessions if you want to see all 3 HOYA games about $700.00. I paid $300 for all six when I went 5 years ago. The price has more than doubled.

Maui site crashed a good five minutes before tix were scheduled to go on sale today. They need a bigger venue for this thing.

I had success, probably because I logged on an hour early (hyper, not smart really). Tix are 333.00 each. Good luck everyone! All Hoya fans who want to go should be able to go.

Sorry I came across this forum and I just want to start out by saying I have no issue with GU. I am a KU alum and I was a bit offended by some of the comments that KU doesn't travel well because they are poor? I just thought I would stop by and say thanks for the tickets, because somehow all of the KU tickets for the tourny have already been bought up by the poor Kansans and we have to resort to buying up GU ticket allotment. Don't worry GU fans, I will make sure to sing the Rock Chalk chant loud in your section so you can understand the lyrics. Here's to a good game in a great location, can't wait.

Guess he doesn't know what the difference between cheap and poor is.

Perhaps, but the posts he was responding to were idiotic and based on one poster's observation of a single BCS bowl game. Kansas basketball has an enormous fan base and travels extremely well.
The Hoya fans who make it to Maui can let us know all about it, since many KU fans will be sitting in our section.

Rock chalk, Jayhawk, KU. How'd I do? Is that enough to earn an honors scholarship to KU? Will Lew Perkins give me some free exercise equipment now?

It was an odd comment I thought to say that Kansas doesn't travel well. Not the type of program you can really attack like that. They are a premier college program. We're not.

Thw Jayhawks were also mighty scarse and cheap at the FF in San Antonio, it looked more like a Memphis suburban get-together than a cheap, hick farmer hogdown.
Point is that they had good teams in two sports and had little support in big venues. I don't think Maui holds more than 2500 to 3000 fans , so to sell out, you only need about 600-700 fans. For Kansas that represents their LA alums only.
Of couerse we never sell out if we have to travel. We didn't for the Old Spice or the Charleston Classic, so why would you expect to sell out when it a couple grand more for a couple to get there?

Kansas fan here. And I realize this is a long shot. Our ticket packages sold out before poor b@stards like me had a shot at any. Does anyone with Georgetown ticket package(s) need to get rid of the 1st round game against Kansas? Possible scenario may be they can't get to Maui until after the first round but were forced to buy the tickets as a package. Like I said, its a longshot. Thanks in advance.

ok, anyone with the correct number of chromosomes care to reply? Doesn't seem like they teach diplomacy in Lawrence (or all the smart ones go to KSU). Step 1 - ask Georgetown fans for extra tickets Step 2 - insult Georgetown fans Step 3 - lock self in room with poster of Tracee Hamilton in bikini
