Moses and Bennimon don't even play the same position. Who cares? We could go big. III does, as do most division 1 coaches. If he never played Macklin and Hibbert together, and he won't play Henry and Julian together, you are never going to see Moses in with Henry or Julian either.

They're making their lay-ups and we're not defending it consistently. Only a few blocks from JV...

The fact that 3 would refuse to play Vaughn as a pf is mind boggling if that's what you're suggesting. Any of the following lineups should be acceptable at the 5-4 Moses - Vaughn Moses - Lubick Sims - Vaughn Sims - Lubick Sims - Vaughn We need a guard who doesn't just wave a red flag at Theodore.

According to the Yahoo box (which can be laughably bad), they've taken 9 more shots than us (including FTs).
Three of those seem to be rebounding disparity, but I assume we've got a slew of dumb turnovers, too, right?

I'd be all for Moses getting more run if it weren't for the fact that he looked completely uncomfortable doing anything on offense other than a screen and roll, which was in garbage time against subpar competition.

No pride on D right now... Hopefully the rim makes them miss.

Yeah and Benimon is a veritable Baryshnikov on offense. I'd rather have him in there even if all he can do is dunk the ball and just look tall and strong in the middle of the paint on d.

we just are laughably bad on D. ...and Sanford is laughably good on D. Makes no sense that he is nailed to the bench.

III's system requires that the 4 position have the ability to float the 3 point line on offense....so that is why we can't go really big with vauhn+sims and/or moses

Moses had problem simply distributing the ball from the top of the key, which is kind of a important skill for gtown big men. He'll be great, but he's nowhere close to ready yet...

Freeman needs to get every shot from here on out.
Gotta love the clueless announcer saying he's 'developed' the mid range game.

It then becomes an issue of 3 being too stubborn to adapt his system to the team's personnel. This is the same logic Jim O'Brien used to keep Roy nailed to the bench in Indy for the longest time.
