I will likely have an extra ticket for tomorrow night's game (just waiting for one more hoya "diehard" to turn me down). pm if interested. the seat is next to me, so presumably you will be sitting next to me. pm if still interested.

Seton Hall is pretty good defensively ... I don't expect this one to be as easy as Rutgers.

SHU has more individual talent than RU. They have Pope and Robinson down low and Hazell is now back. I cannot see this game being easier than RU because of the smaller talent gap. My hope is the confidence and aggressiveness shown by Freeman will carry over into this game. All that said, again we are the more talented team and our B game beats their A game. We need to give another good effort with no dumb turnovers.

They play more undisciplined than pretty much anyone. Rutgers used to be more like that too, but they played a pretty smart game against us.

I think this will be a tougher game for us than Rugers. Hall has played us very tough the last few years. Pope will give our big guys fits. We have to hope that Hazell doesn't get red hot from 3. He can fill it up, but his points normally come with a lot of shot attempts.
Hoyas need the next 2. No doubt about it.

Should be a good chance for our D to show improvement; Hall isn't very good on O. Very, very winnable for a road BE game---SHU doesn't have much going for them other than Pope's rebounding and blocking and Theodore's assists. I guess they're pretty good defensively. Let's hope they build on Sat's win and TURN THIS THING AROUND!

He can fill it up, but his points normally come with a lot of shot attempts. Hoyas need the next 2. No doubt about it. Except last year where we dominated them. EDIT: Oh and we're 4-1 against them in the last 5 meetings. and 3 of those wins are by double digits. They won a close game in 09 when we were playing terrible and they played us close in 04-05 in the BET. but that's it. The other 3 games during JTIII's tenure have not been close. Julian also handled Pope pretty well last year 13pts to pope's 6. Jason also shut down Hazell last year. Hazell ended up with 17 points but 8 of those came in the last 47 seconds of the game after the game was already over. Seton Hall doesn't seem like the type of team that slows the game down, limits possessions, and executes late in the shot clock that have beaten the hoyas this year.

HSB - thanks for the clarification. My memory was that we had lost to them twice recently. I guess not.
I think Pope is better than he showed last year - maybe he had foul trouble. And Hazell is one of those players who can really catch fire once in awhile. Clark's defense for some reason seems down this year compared to last.
To be honest, the Hoyas don't seem like the type of team that slows the game down, limits possession, and executes late in the shot clock either.
I think the Hoyas win, but I think this will be a close one on the road the way we've been playing the last few weeks. Need the W.

Hopefully, we go big to help stop their scoring in the lane. Give Henry some time with Julian and Nate. Vaughn did very well last year against Pope but he had Monroe next to him, not a small forward playing out of position. We have got to generate some offense in the lane. If you recall the key last year was getting Pope in foul trouble.
