Yes we did get Pope in foul trouble.
1st foul was against Julian. 2nd foul was against Julian. 3rd foul was against Greg. Last 2 fouls it's not clear since no one shot FT's after the fouls and the play by play doesn't indicate who had the ball.

Hopefully, we go big to help stop their scoring in the lane. Give Henry some time with Julian and Nate. Vaughn did very well last year against Pope but he had Monroe next to him, not a small forward playing out of position. We have got to generate some offense in the lane. If you recall the key last year was getting Pope in foul trouble. I just don't see Julian and Henry on the floor together this year. They are both 5's and I just think it would clog up the offnese too much. And neither one could get out on the wing to guard if necessary.

Henry has been on the elbow and top of the key at times

Henry has been on the elbow and top of the key at times But he still was playing as a 5, the situation just happened to have him out there. I think Coach has juat realized that Henry is limited to the 5 spot and gives us much more there. I suppose we could see him at the 4 briefly if the opponent went with 2 bigs together, but not for any extended time.

The run-up to SHU games is not the same without Gonzo.

having either henry or julian guard the 4 is a liability unless the other team has gone big. neither is quick enough to guard on the perimeter. That said, it might be a look worth showing vs cuse with their big lineup. Maybe i'm completely off base though.
i advocated for them on the floor at the same time earlier this year and was 'rightly' advised of the above. I think if we want to go big - lubick is our answer this year.

Exactly; even with SU, the problem is what it would do to our offense, since you need a guy with some length and some quickness to slide in on the baseline and get to the hoop. I don't think either JV or Henry has the agility, the hands and the quick decision-making needed at that spot. But we could use the 2 of them on the boards!

It isn't so much that Freeman needs shots as much as it is that we need to get shots to the player with the hot hand. That player will often be Freeman.
Too often, Hollis gets on a little run, and he is either subbed out, or the play goes away from him for whatever reason.

My prediction: if Chris gets more than 0 assists, we will win this game.
I expect Freeman to score more than 20 again tonight.

I miss the pre-PJ era when the Hall was the worst college basketball team in creation (trust me, it was a hoot).
I always thought Danny Hurley would get that job but I guess not.

ESPN3.com is just an awful innovation. I never had trouble with 360 in terms of accessing games. The new system requires hoops/hurdles through cable companies and the like. All that for a MASN game, and we don't even get Tillman out of the deal? That's awful.

The commentators just said Hazell missed his time because of a broken wrist...didn't he get shot? Or was that someone else
