Wouldn't have minded his performance but for bad Chris showing up in crunch time.

This is one of those games where he's just got to forget the last 5 minutes (though he needs to work on sticking with his man and not letting them continually blow by him on the perimeter).
He knows how good he's capable of being and how important he is to the team. He'll rebound. When he does we'll be scary.

Chris had a solid performance except for 2 plays.
Dont care about his stats, I saw a solid effort on both ends of the floor.

No way you knock Chris. He may have had a couple tough turnovers, but he played some nice defense all day. Clear example of a player not letting offensive woes affect other parts of his games. That's not a trait in a lot of players.

He played well and managed the game well prior to that span but let's not ball wash here.

That's not a trait in a lot of players. Chris' head wasn't in the game today offensively. He couldn't get his shot up while driving against Nova's shotblockers and had trouble passing out of the pain when he got caught because of their length. Those half court passes at the end were a mistake. But its ok because he played great D. Really this game Chris was our best perimeter defender. He used his quickness EXCELLENTLY to stay in front of his man and was good at recovering after switches. Last 5 minutes don't exist for CW.

I thought he played well in the parts of the game i could see( thanks ESPN). I thought he did well defensively and he had at least 5 assists.

I saw a nice steal on a pick and roll scenario and solid "d". I thought the refs let Wright get in their head a little and called some ticky tack calls at the end. I believe it was the same game............Great job Hoyas!

If we had not held on to win, Chris would have been a big target for the board, but I agree that overall he did a solid job against the pressure until he got a little rattled near the end - possibly from frustration that he had not scored or even had shots. But we would not ahve won without the first 35 minutes from CW.

I'm just happy that the refs swallowed their whistles when chris started throwing elbows after picking up his dribble and getting trapped on the sideline in the closing seconds.

We go nowhere without Chris. He was clearly rattled at the end offensively but the team rallied around him and won the game. The same thing the fans need to do. It is not like Chris usually has issues at the end of games. He needs to have a short memory and get ready for the UL press.

thought he was solid today. Of course, I missed the 8-0 run he seemingly gave up due to ESPN.

My DVR stopped right at 2 so I missed about five mins when the lead went from like 8 to 1. That contested jumper from the left sideline by Free could turn out to be a huge turning point for this season. Great win!

Wasn't a good game, but the Hoyas won, and showed they can win without Chris having a good game. So lt's hope Chris sees that and relaxes a bit. Glad coach left him in because the last thing this team needs is Chris losing all confidence as the season moves forward.
