Thanks for the props, guys. Still need to hear about Washington, though. And in Nevada, I just got lucky- my reasoning for why Reid was going to win was that the "none of the above" option would take 6 or 7 percent, most of it coming from Angle, allowing Reid to squeak through- it only took 2.2 percent. Turns out Reid just had a killer ground game.

Nevada: we are not so dumb as I thought. Wisconsin: we are. Indeed. Granted, Ron Johnson isn't the total disaster that is Sharon Angle. Angle has really bad ideas, Johnson has no ideas at all. But I'm really gutted to see Feingold go. He was good for the state and good for the country, and a genuinely good guy at the same time. It's depressing to see a guy like him get knocked out while a guy like Reid stays around. Hopefully Russ sticks around on the national scene. We need somebody like him in the Senate.

My former home State, Hawaii, went against the grain - replacing a Republican Congressman with Democrat Colleen Hanabusa, former majority leader of the Hawaii State Senate, and replacing a Republican Governor with Democrat Neil Abercrombie, former Congressman. They also re-elected Democratic Congresswoman Mazie Hirono, and the Senate's most senior member, Medal of Honor winner Daniel Inouye.

MN-08: Cravaack > Oberstar AK SEN: Murkowksi > Miller/McAdams (that exact spelling too ;D) MO-04: Hartzler > Skelton CA-SEN: Fiorina > BoxerIN-02: Walorski > DonnellyIL-SEN: Kirk > Giannoulias SD-AL: Noem > Herseth Sandlin HI-01: Djou > HanabusaND-AL: Berg > Pomeroy MN-GOV: Dayton > Emmer (Because Holy F! MN voters are stupider than Delaware's) Republican gains--75 So, I was wrong about the spelling, but I thought I'd pat myself on the back a bit for calling the Alaska Senate Race ;D www.npr.org/2010/11/17/131391244/ap-murkowski-wins-alaska-senate-race
