my ideal starting line up would be:
Starks Clark Hollis Porter & Sims
IMHO, while Jason had a rough go of it at the end of the season, i still think he has a lot of value and wouldn't be at all surprised if he was our leading scorer next year.

Georgetown got a great late pick-up by being the last man standing. Missouri got a new coach, Kansas got Braedon Anderson, and it's too late to look elsewhere. You'd think Georgetown was the midwestern school with all of it's stick-to-itness...

Welcome Otto!! Some great news for sure. I was also watching the auto real time update on Google and was VERY happy to see all the Tweets coming across about Otto......pretty cool. Way to early for a starting 5, but with a combination of realism and high hopes, I'll throw out this--
Starks Hollis Otto Nate Moses

Super news!!!! Congratulations to Otto, his family, JT3 and staff!!! Reading some of the news/analysis out there, I love the fact that he's a hard-worker. That will rub off on his teammates.
According to the same articles, he's got an excellent mid-range game. At 6'9", Otto could be our zone buster.
Too early for a starting line-up, but it will different by the end of the year for sure.

@doctor - LOVE IT!!!
Let's hope he's not soft and doesn't acquire the Otto "Ms." Porter's nickname.

I've been listening to this song all day .... every time he does something ... "It's completely Otto-matic."

Funny how even the most well respected posters all have Clark coming off the bench....I just don't see it.

yeah, no way clark comes off the bench. (at lease for the first half; in the second only if its clear he is better coming off the bench, like with Hollis this year). Clark has been in the offense for 3 years and playing all three- thats three more than any other guard on the team. No matter the talent level, clark knows the offense better than anyone else. Stop thinking about the clark you saw after Jan 1 and think about the one you saw before Jan 1 and that might make you feel better

Where is Bowen in all this speculation?

Wasn't saying that it's what i thought would happen, but rather my ideal line up. Then again Jason's career is very similar to sapp's first 3 years so it's not impossible that he gets pushed to the bench eventually.
I'm hoping we go extremely deep: Markel, Vee, Clark, Jabril, Bowen, Hollis, Porter, Greg, Hopkins, Nate, Adams, Sims all seeing playing time. And if anyone else is around maybe them too.

basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1197156Just noticed that Porter was rated the seventh-best interior scorer in the '11 class, ahead of Adonis Thomas and James McAdoo. He may very well project as a 3 at the highest level, but if he's that good in the paint, then he'll be playing a lot next to Hollis and Henry/Adams/Moses?

Coming down the stretch I wanted the ball in Hollis hands over Clark. Going into next year I really like the idea of Starks, Hollis, Otto, Nate, Sims line up. I really thought Clark should have been the guy coming off the bench instead of Hollis. Hollis played well coming off the bench so it looked like a great idea at the time. It probably had much more to do with Hollis being a great player. If Clark had a better handle he could play point, but I don't like it would rather give those minutes to Starks and/or Vee.

Welcome to Georgetown Otto aka Bubba!! Can't wait for you to set foot on the hilltop and join the Hoya family. Guess your visit made you feel comfortable enough.
Great that he can be an interior presence too, causing mismatches against skinnier, shooting SFs.
GO HOYAS!!

Unfortunately, knowing our board, we would then have posters complaining about playing too many people.
