Ok I know that "rankings" are subjective and mostly bogus, but... If he had played AAU throughout high school and been on the radar forever, where do people think he would be ranked in the respective recruiting services? I think when the final rankings come out he'll be in everyone's top 50. ESPN already has him in the 30s and I'd guess that's where he'd be if he had more exposure earlier. Depending on how he looks in the Jordan game it could go up or down a bit. Obviously, this is the most talented recruit of the class. I really think he could be an impact player. This is the first kid we've landed who I've thought "Now, HE'S gonna be a player" since we landed Monroe and Hollis back in October 2007.

Great news if he's as advertised.
One thing I noted though in looking over the ESPN "Best Unknown Player" article is the photo towards the bottom of him shooting a jumper. Kid is going to need to hit some SERIOUS weights. I'm not seeing any bicep muscle at all there.

Reminds me of Jeremy Lamb. Long, lean, smooth, needs to work on handle and strength. Excited to see how it goes.

I like to think that a 36 page thread and counting had something to do with Otto's decision....what other fanbase does that!?! While Hollis was a great get and still has his best basketball ahead of him...my guess is that Otto will be more ready to come in and contribute immediately. This kid has the potential to put up Jeff Green like numbers as a freshman.

Such an exciting get for this program. Major props to III and Kirby. Beating out Missouri and Kansas for a Missouri kid is just awesome. Says a lot about the efforts of the staff. Otto is the gem of an already impressive, well rounded class. I'm extremely excited to watch them all develop.

Now get Otto Von Biz and Greg into the weight room.....get Tyler on a diet......feed Hopkins some gunpowder to make him angry and tell Jabril to bring a nasty attitude with him from Philly.

Can't take my eyes off the google realtime otto porter search. Feels too good to read all of the tweets.
Otto Porter is currently the #6 trending topic in the US. Damn it feels good to be a hoya.
