We should get Ochefu and then this kid. That'd be nice.

Then add Iverson, Meeks, Freeman and Williams. Sounds like we are targetting lots of great players for 2013.

Nerlens had 20 points, 13 boards and 4 blocks in a win for BABC last night.
Kentucky offered this week as noted in another thread and everyone is sure to be on him this spring/summer.

Rivals:
Nerlens Noel, C/PF, BABC- An athletic, confident and smart big man, Noel is looking like a legitimate top five player and may even have an argument for the class of 2013's top spot. He's a terror defensively who runs the floor, stays in attack mode and is looking like he should be a good scorer on the next level.

Noel is the #1 recruit I'd love Georgetown to get in any class.
Especially with likelihood that NBA is going to 2 years in college in next CBA.

Noel Holds Major Offers - 5/8/11 At 6 feet 10 inches and with natural shot-blocking abilities, Nerlens Noel may well be the best defensive player in the Class of 2013.
“Nerlens has cat-like reflexes, incredible instincts, quickness, reflexes for a guy his size,†said Tilton (N.H.) School coach Markus O’Neil. “He has uncanny shot-blocking ability.
O’Neil said Kentucky, Georgetown and Syracuse have offered Noel and other major programs are involved. ESPNBostonBlog -- Praise for Noel from EYBL - 6/1/11 ESPN basketball recruiting analysts Joel Francisco and John Stovall check in today with a recap of last weekend's third session of the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League...
Once again, Noel continues to draw high praise for his intuitive shot-blocking ability:
Noel may have been the most promising prospect in the event. His shot blocking ability is simply awe-inspiring. He has impeccable timing and agility at both ends of the floor. His offensive game is still a work in progress, but he is one of the better passing big men in the country and he put together a couple of impressive face-up moves to get to the rim as well.

Hyperbole or not, we need another "awe-inspiring" shot-blocker at BigManU! "cat-like reflexes" The fact that he's "one of the better passing big men in the country" with "impressive face-up moves" doesn't hurt. Othella's?

Is he more of a weak side shot blocker, a lane shot blocker or a recovery shot blocker?

Saxa,
He's already better than Roc from what I hear, just needs to get stronger and continue developing offensively. Is considered the best shot blocker regardless of class.
