I can't believe $omething could change hi$ mind that late.....what could that $omething have been? Man, this thing exposed just how little our self-annointed insiders here know. We all got played. One funny sidenote is that balla now has "Roscoe = HOYA" and "Nerlens Noel = HOYA" on his resume. Less upset than I expected to lose out on him - he's one and done and it's hard to fault a kid like that for going to UK in the current college hoops environment. I hope we land one of the big fish still out there though. If we're beig objective. He said he was going to UK a week ago and stuck to it. We got played. Clear as day to me those gtown rumors were planted and the gurus all fed the flame

Sweet merciful crap. 150 pages!
Wow. I guess this kid must really be something.
Good luck to him. I hope he gets in and out of UK before the sanctions come down.

What these insiders do is pass along info. You can choose to believe it or not. Bulla always defended himself by attacking people who dared question his expertise. That is why he is a fugaise. And when they pass along bad info their so-called insider status can fairly be called into question, or even ridiculed. True. But do people feel like this guy was intentionally leading the board on? Did he call people out in an attempt to make himself look good? If all he is doing is passing on info, shoot the messenger?

first thing i said to my wife after the announcement was "im glad he isn't coming...taking my talents, give me a break..."
This of course is complete sour grapes. Of course I wanted him and I am disappointed. it would have been great for future recruiting 1 and dones or 1 and 2's and 3's when they consider themselves 1 and dones. would have been good for next year with otto, greg, starks and our other bigs coming back / returning from injury. could have even been another elite 8, maybe final 4...
but im trying to look at the silver lining... his offensive game is UNDER developed, what if he came here and sucked? Cuse probably took a bit of a step back with melo's failed 1 and done effort right? What if he couldn't get off the bench because his O is so bad? that would have been TERRIBLE for recruits, right? What if he didn't go to class, didn't participate in the GU tradition and was a cancer on the team??? (I know he keeps saying he wants to get back to his studies which makes me think he wouldnt be like that...but Im trying to think of the silver lining). But seriously - his offensive game is weak - it is a real possibility he wouldn't hvae done well here in a 1 year situation. so maybe it was for the best...
yea - I'm reaching. I wish he said he was coming to g town sans "taking my talents.." comment.

When he agreed to be a part of the ESPN special like TC said that told me he was not Georgetown bound. Kids that are Hoya recruits just are not egotistical that way. Would have been ok with his choice of Ky if he ESPN and Cal did not use Hoyas as a pawn to hike their ratings. Lets hope Hoyas get to pay them back in the BE-SEC matchups. I'm sure Otto Porter and Jason Clark and Henry Sims and Hollis Thompson and you name it would have turned the opportunity to be on ESPNU making their announcement, if the option were available to them. No question about it. What I am saying is that if the decision to attend GU had already been made, like t was with NN, then yes I believe Porter, Clark, Sims and Hollis would have told them no thanks with JT3's blessing. My point is none of the Hoyas you named are so egotistical to want to be apart of an ESPN production just to be on TV. Devonta Pollard will be a better fit for the Hoyas. As i said before the offense either goes through the point/forward or the Center/forward but not both.

Well at least he's thinking about his post-ball career, from his Wikipedia page..
"On April 11, 2012, he announced that he will attend the University of Kentucky, where he plans to major in computer engineering."

Who knew: turns out the "facilities" we needed to finish to be more competitive in recruiting was the science building.

The clown people really should call out is Telep, who tweeted the 'Georgetown is a lock' BS all day when clearly it was simply a ruse to hold interest for the ESPN show he was co-hosting.

Yes, a major that takes probably a minimum of 5 years to finish at a public University. What a joke. Total lie, just like the Hoyas thing to make him look smart. No way he ever gets a BS in EE or CS.

In the end as an alumnus I prefer we stay away from the sideshows at the Carnival ... in retrospect the recruiting 'miss' on Kyle Anderson hurts more now that we clearly see the act this recruitment was. At least with the former there was some respect for the process.
I hope the NCAA lets the one and done go straight to the league and/or impose a minimum two year college commitment.
