I am predicting Moses will be a defensive FORCE from day 1. I just cannot see John Thompson Jr. RECRUITING and comparing him to Pat Ewing if the kid wasn't special. I am pumped because this team has addressed a lot it's needs. If Greg returns LOOK OUT.

Welcome, Moses! You made a great choice and the Hoya faithful are thankful.
To the Indiana fans: we feel your pain. Our version of it was named "Roscoe Smith".

Hoosier perspective:
Looks like the final straw was the handler/adviser having a long conversation with the Thompson father and son combo.
Its too bad Crean has sold two kids on the campus and what IU has to offer, KI and Moses, but there parents/guardian have different plans for them.

It's bizarrely quiet not only here, but also on the IU front. I can understand why not a lot of Hoya fans are tuning in to Hoyatalk these days, since life sucks and the world is over. But where is the doom and gloom from Hoosier fans? Where's the update on Inside the Hall, who was, by their own admission, covering this kid like TMZ? Weird how this story lost so much steam. I remember when Boncore was keeping people on pins and needles with a midnight announcement on Selection Sunday. Seems like ages ago now.

Zagoria and Indiana beat reporters are now confirming the decision. So, we can be comfortable with the initial report. Yanda's track record had not been good up until now as far as this recruitment is concerned.

Going with the dorky religious themes here...hopefully our Moses can one day come down from the Hilltop not with two tablets but a Georgetown degree and a national championship ring.

Its too bad Crean has sold two kids on the campus and what IU has to offer, KI and Moses, but there parents/guardian have different plans for them. Good point, what happened to the days when kids got to choose their own school? Best of luck to Moses at Georgetown. As for KI, Duke can have him. It doesn't matter who their PG is, Duke manages to blow it every year anyways. You don't see all that much disappointmentt from the IU faithful because we've gotten used to this. Besides, we had a couple backup plans in place for just this situation. Also, many of our fans are actually happy about this. Some people felt we should hold on to the scholarship and use it on the talent-heavy in-state classes of '11 and '12.

Welcome moses!
great Get!
Sucks to be indiana1 but we already knew that!
this isn't about handlers it's about moses making the choice that was best for his future. A great academic school with a history of developing bigs, and will be good for years to come.
or he could've gone to a decent school with a coach who has no clue how to use big men much less develop them and be on a team that will suck all 4 years he's there.

LMAO.
So because he chose Georgetown after a long talk..something must be up??
How about last sunday when he was all set on G'Town and Crean swooped in and got a visit out of him?
Moses made the best decision he could have possibly made for himself.
