I'd prefer only taking one more guy in 2010 (keep it local) and save the rest for 2011 (better options). Moses is my preference. Adding 3 guys to our team is sufficient (even with Greg - potentially - leaving).

Ditto.
OK. I think we all agree. Let me just go tell Moses and JTIII so we can get er done.

True. One big that can play center and PF. That'll allow Nate to play strictly PF and develop. As for 2011, I'd like Rak, Ty, Mikael and Jordan O. One of the bigs could be redshirted. First, let's convince GM to return for ANOTHER championship run. There. Corrected it for ya!

Meyer calls Abraham the best unranked unsigned big man in America. Kid looks like a project. would love to have him in Hoya blue and grey.

In that sense a less hyped Sims might not be that bad considering the upside that would entail.

Need a SF. A true SF. Someone to give Hollis a run.

Need a SF. A true SF. Someone to give Hollis a run. Definitely wouldn't mind what would kind of be a Roscoe Smith fallback (considering Leslie and Ross aren't realistic options for us at this point). I wonder whether 3 would ever consider a Juco like Carrick Felix. I know it's a little late to get in on him but his skill set would be so different from Hollis that he could be a nice pickup to give us versatility from that position.

Carrick Felix, from what I understand, committed to Duke. He must be good because it's the first JUCO K's ever taken

Need a SF. A true SF. Someone to give Hollis a run. There is no SF left '10 that we know of worth handing out a scholarship to. Besides if you bring in some unknown dude what purpose would it serve for next season? III is still likely to have three guards in the starting lineup which means such a SF, like Hollis is already doing, would be coming off the bench. And if he's coming off the bench he probably would be at best the 9th or 10th guy in the rotation on next season's team. And we have had more than enough evidence that III doesn't always regularly go that deep down his bench on a per game basis.

And we have had more than enough evidence that III doesn't always regularly go that deep down his bench on a per game basis. I don't agree with your 9/10th analysis. From what we have seen, JT3 hasn't had a very deep, quality bench like he would have next year if GM stays. If he has this year's starting five, plus Hollis, JB, Starks & Lubick, we're going 9-deep regularly. Figure that a junior Sims (if he stays) will have matured into a better, more reliable player (doesn't have to be a drastic improvement, just better) and we're going 10 deep. If GM leaves and JT3 adds another quality player who adapts quickly to our game, then the same applies. Heck, we could give Nova some of its own medicine with all of the available fouls. BTW, I'm not including VS, but he could surprise with a year under his belt. I like the kid's poise when he comes into a game.

I disagree on none left in '10 worth handing out a schollie to. Hunter was in Alabama two weeks ago taking a look at '10 SF Joshua Langford. WVU, Cincy, Marquette have all offered. Former Louisville commit. SEC, ACC and BE all heavily involved. Sounds worth it to me.

I think we need another big more than another SF, but I'm still interested in his particulars.

He's got a brother, I believe his name's Keith that's a shooting guard in the class of 2011 -also supposed to be a very good prospect. To me, a big is a much more pressing need than a wing in the class of 2010. Monroe will likely be gone and while Lubick will be a solid replacement, there will still be major depth issues. Between Wright, Clark, Freeman, Hollis, Starks and Sanford, the 1-3 positions will be fine. I don't see a class of 2010 player breaking into that rotation of guards/wings.

Keith Langford played @ Kansas a few yrs ago. Actually, its his cousin Devin from the 2011 class. Long, versatile n athletic. Illinois loves him. MD has been down to see him.

Yep, got my Langfords mixed up. Devin not Keith. You are correct on Illinois, they are recruiting both Langfords at this point, even though they don't have room currently in '10 for Josh. Devin supposedly a bit on the raw side but with very high upside.

Devin may have more upside than Josh. Illinois is hot for Devin; not so much for Josh. Feeling may be mutual. 6'7, with length, handle and atleticism. Just a junior, so next year is his time.

Moses is planning to visit Indiana for its upcoming game vs. Wisconsin. Apparently he knows Victor Oladipo and was impressed when Tom Crean took a private plane to see him this past week.
Let's hope Moses doesn't talk to Jeremiah Rivers too much while he is in Bloomington.
