Although I don't post much or often, let me just say (and since both Mrs. Hoopster and I are John Carroll awardees, I'm biased), that the award that John (er.. DFW) has won speaks volumes about the kind of guy he is, and how much he's done for Georgetown, on this Board, and elsewhere. I hope that some of our younger posters will pursue the spirit and commitment to our incredible alma mater that this award recognizes. Now get your butts out here to SoCal for the Washington game so that we California Hoyas can give you the reception that you all deserve! Best to all.

john this is WELL deserved. for those that might need claification, the award is given to the one alum board of governor member who in the last year provided the most exemplery service to the board and the university of course we all know john by his great work on hoya bball and athletics hoyasaxa.com etc. but many may NOT know how much john has been crucial in helping the alumni association and the whole university for that matter to come into the modern age of communications.. so WELL DONE congrats well deserved and i hope all on this site will now realize ITS ABOUT MORE THAN BBALL for sure.. GO HOYAS
