Congratulations DFW on receiving this prestigious award from Georgetown. And thanks for all the years of effort to make this board as great as it is. Reed Alumni Award
John K. Reagan (B'84) - Dallas, Texas Reed Alumni Award
The Reed Alumni Award recognizes outstanding service by one member of the Georgetown University Board of Governors (including Senators) during the most recently completed fiscal year. Nominations are accepted from current Governors and Senators, and the nominee must be a member of the Board of Governors or a Senator during the fiscal year in which the award is conferred. Governors are asked to provide a summary of the nominee's accomplishments on behalf of the Board of Governors and the Georgetown University Alumni Association during such fiscal year. I imagine the Reed Award is for other actions, but I'll say that I would not be connected to Georgetown AT ALL if it weren't for this board. Instead, I'm involved in a variety of ways (much to their chagrin, I suppose). I can't imagine I'm the only one here.
This might be the most connected group of Georgetown alums and supporters outside the campus.

Congratulations John. This was long overdue. Again, as others have said, thanks for providing the venue, where we can connect with college roots. It has been great fun. Some have to have their morning coffee, I think we need our daily dose of the Hoyatalk board to enter the world each day!
