Per his Twitter, Jessie just signed a pro contract to play in Scotland. I didn't even know there was basketball in Scotland until this morning but that doesn't matter. Congrats to Jessie and I hope this is the first step in a long career!

Rumor has it that he is learning how to play the pipes so he can play at football games once his hoops days are over.

Good luck, Jessie. Was wondering what he was up to. One of my all-time favorite Hoyas.

Congrats to Jesse! By football, do you mean their football or ours? It better be our football. The only instrument Hoya soccer fans should have are pots and spoons.

Is Jessie at all concerned that his name in Scotland is slang for "wimp"? Scottish SlangMy guess is, if anyone tries to apply that to Mr. Sapp once....they won't do it twice. ;D ;D Congratulations Jessie! Say hi to Shirley Manson for me!!

Scotland is a great country I hope he enjoys it. Something to think about: "Georgetown senior guard Jessie Sapp ranks sixth in school history with 142 career 3-pointers"
Celtic all the way, f the Rangers, sheep shaggers.
My dialogue at Glasgow sandwich shop counter:
"Dyywnt brnbrd?" I'm sorry? "Dyywnt brnbrd?" Sorry I can't hear what you're saying. "Dyywnt brnbrd?" Sorry, what it is it? (points to bread) "Dyywnt brnbrd?" Oh...do I want brown bread (whole wheat)... yes! Thanks.
