Obviously some people have not recovered from the shock of Summers not being a lotto pick The only question remaining is can Javon McCrea surpass Latavius Williams for largest most worthless thread. Now that I have cleaned my computer screen, I plan to place 500 more posts on this thread to make this occur.

Hoya boya The Jury is still out of Freeman he can finish up strong or be somewhat of a bust, but Wright is nasty. You have to take into account his frosh year was lost due to injury and he played very well at strechs last year. I think hell have a break out year this year as long as he can play somewhat undercontrol when the offenseive system breaks down. I think your dead wrong on wright...

Seriously though does anyone know why someone who lives an hour west of Syracuse decided to play with an AAU team from New England for the summer?

Just for comparison:
Player A - 81% of minutes, 22% usage, 108 O Rating, 25 ARate, 11 Reb%, 2.4 B+S Player C - 61% of minutes, 24% usage, 106 O Rating, 23 ARate, 11 Reb%, 3.2 B+S
Player B - 73% of minutes, 20% usage, 115 O Rating, 15 ARate, 17 Reb%, 2.4 B+S Player D - 57% of minutes, 18% usage, 115 O Rating, 8 ARate, 17 Reb%, 3.1 B+S
----
These are two sets of McD's AAs-caliber players, similarly ranked. A&C play the same position; B&D play the same position.
A&B are slightly better statistically, plus they play a lot more minutes. I'm not sure anyone would laud either pair for outstanding defense yet.
C&D play on one of the hottest recruiting teams in the country, while some people think A&B are failures. They aren't.
The big difference between these two pairs were teammates and thus team success.

The other two I don't know, maybe the Corey's from Nova? I do not know, but I think again this just points back to on court success. Recruiting seems better when the team is doing better, individual players seem better when they are getting wins. Would our players have better skillsets and more talent if Summer's threes had gone down against Cinnci and Cuse? No, but with a 9-9 record(atleast), and possibly an NCAA birth, we would be looking at everything and everyone in a very different light right now. The fact is perception isn't always reality, and some on this board really need a reality in regards to the negativity. Freeman and Wright are FAR from busts. They are at worst solid impact players who still have two years to breakout. Do they have weaknesses? Uh... duh. They were never expected to be one and dones or two and dones. If you expect every Mcdonald All-American to be Durant or a Rose, well then thats your fault then, but don't go putting two players in the middle of their Gtown career(half of which consisted of winning a Big East Conference title) in the same category as Macklin.

Bingo, Sleepy. If Wright and Freeman had played with an all-senior frontcourt plus the depth they had, we would have had a better season. Instead, we were young and extremely thin.
Freeman actually had an excellent offensive season that could have been improved by shooting MORE or making a few more threes. Chris just needs to cut down on turnovers and make a few more threes.
