If we have no interest, why did we invite him for a visit? Or did something happen during/after the visit? i have the same question but no one seems to provide an answer. i can only assume they are speculating.

The real question is: what is the over/under after Williams commits to memphis, of how many lost people will then start posting how the sky is falling and we "lost" a recruit to memphis I'm going to go with 20 'lost people' who will appear to claim disaster for us next year. fyi, those will be the same 20 "lost" people who said losing macklin was a bad thing.

GU has a good relationship with Latavius' coaches. Latavius and his family wanted him at GU,and he paid his OWN way twice to visit. He is a good kid and he SHOULD qualify. He was needed for depth purposes a couple of months ago, but he is no longer needed. GU has moved on, so should some posters.

Obviously Pope is reaching spammer level, so I will stop responding and let this brilliant guy figure it out.

for whatever reason again, LW has reportedly postpones his decision one more day according to the Memphis message boars. (who also say the Memphis decision is all but official)

he better announce today. End the madness we don't care anymore. We showed interest but i think we decided to go another way. I think we realized he wasn't going to be as big of an impact as we were hoping and I think we decided to go with a stratedgy of looking towards the future benimon rather than trying for a quick fix. There's a good chance that LW doesn't qualify to play this year. We have a lot of good prospects in 2010 interested in us. We'll be fine.

For all the depressed upset people here is a quote from the Washington Post back in Feb of this year about Jerrelle Benimon "Benimon, who averages 23 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists, scored seven of his 17 points in overtime to propel Fauquier (21-3) to its first district title since 2007. He also had 23 rebounds -- one more than the entire Battlefield team. A 6-foot-8 swingman with the jump shot of a guard and the power of a linebacker, he fought through several defensive looks from the Bobcats, who shadowed, swarmed and surrounded him.
"He still fought through it all and came through for them in the end," Battlefield Coach Al Ford said. "He's just a great player." "
Sweet summer thoughts.
