ND is cold but typically flawed. UNC looks pretty good. Hitting on all cylinders it seems to me... and playing defense surprisingly. They must've actually heard that they were gonna play a Big East team (even if it is ND). But.... and I'm thinking I'm crazy even thinking it... I like the thought of us matching up against UNC come March. Ty Lawson v. Chris Wright. Tyler H vs. Greg Monroe with BE season experience... DaJuan Summers vs. everyone else. I think the thought came from a comment by one of the talking heads about how fast Lawson is with the ball and immediately I thought of Chris Wright and Jason Clark and felt good about the matchup. Watching TH's inside and out game and thought of how I think Greg will look by the end of the year. Felt good about that too. I remembered our rebounding and cringed a bit. But still optimistic about the matchup. I'm thinking it'd be a helluva game in a couple of months.

And... I almost forgot... who can deal with DS on UNC? He's a matchup nightmare for them no?

I'd like our chances later on in the year but not now. I think if you make UNC play alot of defense you get them frustrated, especially if the quick jacks they take don't go in. If we played them right now we'd get mopped like ND is. But later on we'd be better off, and can win that match-up

I think we'd be okay, but I'd rather not play them in a tourney game though. Too many guys on that team were on the team from 2 years ago, they will be focused.

I think we're the only two people on the board right now.... they're supposed to be the best team in the country. And they are. Now. And, I'd prefer the easy road... I'm American after all. But, I think come March we'd give them all they could handle... and maybe a little more on a good day.

I don't see ND hanging around in this one. Legs are going to go soon and UNC has the depth to keep going at this pace. ND needs to start making significantly more shots.

One Again you see what happens if you try to run and play with UNC without driving at all. Like 90% of these ND shots are quick jumpshots. This isnt something that is new to ND, they are the same team as last year, i'd even say not as good cause Kurz gave them someone who could guard the post cause Gody can't sick or not

Keep flipping back and forth between this game and the OU vs. UAB game. Blake Griffin is extremely impressive. #1 candidate for POY.

Not only are they not driving, they're super cold from 3. ND would lose to my old HS team with their shooting tonight. And, I agree that they look tired.

UNC has completely taken ND out of their offense by face guarding McAlarney. Something to note for when we play them. Jackson is struggling with Lawson (granted he is probably the quickest guard in the country). And ND plays no defense.

Agreed russ. And although I love Bill Raftery cuz I sorta crushed on his daughter while on the Hilltop, I turned the sound off about 20 minutes ago b/c of the TH lovefest that's honestly nauseating.

Interesting too how glowing the chatter about Harangody is when ND isn't playing against UNC. I've actually heard criticism... beyond the level of when Harangody was getting just pwnd by Roy.

I didn't expect ND to win. I DID expect them to show up. This is only gonna add to the UNC butt kiss party. AWFUL.

Let's get the OSC going.... by the by... isn't Old Spice Classic redundant? Does anyone under the age of 60 use Old Spice anything? It has to be classic....

I really hope we make the Abacus Classic next year. Should be held in Rome.

Mcalarney can sure hit the three when he's on though. Only down 11, I hope they can sneak up on UNC.

Not for nuthin... does TH have the longest neck outside of an African woman with rings around her neck that I've ever seen? Giving me National Geographic flashbacks.
