I picked Kent State, as well...dumb. Did you see that Kentucky was on the list for least points scored in a half in the tourney with 11 (Kent St. tied the record of 10)? The opponent and year? Georgetown, 1984.

Marquette should be ahead by at least 15 pts in this game--but Crean's AWFUL coaching and the overrated Dominic James are keeping Kentucky within distance. These two clowns need to stay out of the rest of the team's way--let them play (Crean needs to quit the sub patterns and James needs to quit hogging the ball). I hate that EXPLETIVE program--but I want Big East to do well--having most teams in--winning bodes well for future when Hoyas might need to get in as one of the "7-8" from Big East. Only Crean could screw this up for the league.

Just need Marquette to hold on (I got them going out the second round) and I'll be off to a 7-0 start I picked Marquette because Patterson is out, Kentucky just lost to Georgia and because Marquette can't posibly lose in the first round of the NCAA tourney for the third straight time, right?

love James falling down and Bradley swishing a 3 over him to pull within 5. Wow does he stink.

James is so FRIGGIN stupid as a player--if he's not fouling Hoyas on 3pt attempts with lead-he's taking chances for steals and giving up open 3's with a lead. Then he's so awful with his FT shooting--he can't have ball in his hands. What a clown. Let me add--he almost fouls a Kentucky guy on a 3pt attempt with Marquette up six and only chance to win/stay in game to make a 3 and get fouled. James is a total moron. Crean--what else can be said--he leaves in Burke when Kentucky was fouling (yes--it should be intentional foul-but it wasn't called) and waits to take him out once game is at 4 pts. Then again--when you see his wife and figure Crean checked her out and said "Man--that chick looks like Jim Harbaugh with long hair--there is Mrs. Crean" his decision making makes a lot more sense.

So, was that diet coke or diet pepsi that Crean was chugging from the cup with 10 seconds left?

Is it a rule that if you grow up in Indiana and play at a Big 10 school instate, proceed to coach- you must have same haircut?

Looks like the booth had a nice turnout, especially with X fans I would have thought that it would have been dominated by Georgia people considering their MASSIVE alumni base in DC.
Duke fans versus West Virginia fans should be a sellout

Do we get a portion of the revenues?

I hate when my anti Big Ten Basketball bias hurts me in pools.
I like when partners want to take me to lunch at Lawry's, except when otherwise I'd be meeting people at the Bellagio to watch hoops.
I don't like that Cornell Stanford is the only game on right now.
Thank you for tuning into another episode of Hate-Like-Don't Like with FormerHoya.

I don't like that Cornell Stanford is the only game on right now. At least you're seeing it. On the west coast the Columbia Broadcasting System has chosen to appease the octogenarian set and is showing the Price is Right.

Yeah, seriously, we have to watch Stanford whoop on Cornell until everyone gets to see the overhyped game between USC and K-State (although I do actually want to watch it).

Um, Stanford-Cornell is the only game going right now, and it's only being shown in the Bay Area & parts of New York State.
