GUJook97, that's a good point about the #3 seed in the west. The regional is in Raleigh. I think Duke would rather have that then a #2. Plus 2 of the other #3 seeds play on our home court. The committee won't allow a team to play on their own homecourt so that rules out those 2 #3 seeds for us. That leaves Anaheim pod in the MidWest Regional. I would think that they would give that to Stanford. Looking more and more like the #2 seed in the East, regardless of what Wisconsin does.

I would not want to see Stanford given their size. I don't worry about Roy matching up with one of the Lopez twins, but what do we do with the other on the glass?

Don't know if its possible, but I wouldn't mind Texas as our #1 seed in the slightest.

Not really related to us, but CBS just announced that the opening round game is Mount St. Mary's vs. Coppin State.

If there are 5 Big East teams seeded 4 or better, as Lunardi has it, then they can't each be in a different region.

If Illinois won wouldn't they have to be a 16 seed or in the play-in game with a losing record?

If we had five teams seeded 4 or better, that would be very impressive for the Big East. I hope we get to play some Big 10 teams. They seem very overated to me.
Nova's going to biting nails for the next hour.

Lunardi now has Nova in as an 11 seed. He also moved UConn to the 5 in the East.

The SEC final just turned the bubble picture into a mess. A bubble team is now out because of the UGA win.

the key may be a potential matchup with a very physical team. UNC, Kansas, Memphis and UCLA are all physical squads.

Weird stuff. Tennessee is going to have a tough time with that draw.

Why would we be a #3 - just because UT is a #2 in UNC's bracket?
