surprisingly enough [to me] this was my first game I've seen in person in the JT III era. And as everyone else said, it was no where near close....ever. Everything seemed to be falling for us, but rebounding still is a concern...we're a great shooting team but we'll need those rebounds on nights those shots don't fall as much. But its soo much different seeing this Prince-"town" offense in person than on TV. I can see why teams struggle against it.
Roy was more aggressive in the paint. Those two jumpers he hit were amazing. I wonder if it'll develop to the point where defenders have to respect it lol
Dajuan played well within his game, and controlled. I love our backcourt. The offense is a bit different with Wallace out. But Jesse's game is real underrated. Freeman, as smooth as everyone has talked about. And I saw somewhere where someone said Chris needs to buy into the offense a little more. Me knowing him personally automatically makes me a big fan. I saw where he got aggressive and dribbled to the paint against nothing but defenders; but it's a learning experience. JT III keeping him in as long as he has, is bringing him along, and u can see that.
PE Jr...love the aggression but he needs to stay with the game and stop being concerned about what calls the refs make. On the flip side....the less fouls the refs call, the stronger he gets.
I'm looking forward to the Uconn game

ugh... wanted to watch it through the streaming link athletics sent out but I needed Safari 2 except I just updated to Safari 3 and I guess it's not backwards compatible. Especially annoyed cause Roy hit his 1st 3!

i agree with GUJook. don't read too much into anything. Oh and I was fan of the game! Wohoo! Haha it's a good thing too, since GUHoya2007 might have died if someone wearing Orange at the phone booth got it.

That was NOT Roy's first three, thank you very much! Someone screwed up the stats somewhere because I saw him hit one against ODU last year with my own eyes... you don't forget something like that!
Big day for J-Wall... couldn't happen to a better kid. Talk about being a perfect example for young players. He should write some kind of book after hes done being a lawyer, which is after the NBA of course.
Regarding Nikita, I have heard rumors that there is a serious problem with the language barrier, keeping him from learing the offense and defense. Sounds like as good a reason as any to redshirt. Don't get me wrong, I loved Sead as much as anyone else, but I just hope Nikita's fate doesn't resemble that of his fellow eastern european with the amount of PT and all.
And you GOTTA love the 83% FT's (even though it was 12 shots... make 'em all count!)

Was at that game last year as well and if I recall, it was just inside the 3 point line. A VERY long 2, but a 2 never-less.

5. Chick Fil A Shake Cam can be awesome, but it needs more careful camera work and an actual defined winner. Yeah, seriously. There was an audible crowd reaction to one or two women. I immediately said that it seems like Verizon hired some out of work XFL cameramen, and a friend of mine yelled at the end, "There was a whole lot of smut in that montage."

was that roy's first career three today? i think it might have been. Yes. I can't believe anyone is surprised Nikita didn't play. Thompson is the guy who has barely gotten Tyler or Omar into fifty-point routs and I think both of them are probably miles ahead of Nikita right now. The rotation is only going to get smaller from here on out. I think the suprise is due to the fact that Nikita was sitting at the scorers table ready to check in, and Thompson yanked him back after about 20 seconds without a break in the action. You never see that - or at least not in 30 point routs with under 2 minutes remaining.

Maybe if someone did another something, he was going to pull them, but they didn't? I dunno
