Anybody feel like making a prediction? Here are some "objective" looks at the game. Pomeroy: GU #65, UConn #43: prediction GU +1 Sagarin: GU #66 (80.46), UConn #35 (83.83): prediction GU +.57 RPI: GU #65, UConn #59 NodaK: GU #1, UConn#329: prediction GU -7 (75-68)

Hoyas 81 UCONN 77. Terd Calhoun gets ejected from the game for his 2nd technical arguing a foul called on Hilton Armstrong. He is uptight about the officiating the whole game, but its really his masking anger because he is being out-coached again by a Georgetown team led by a man named John Thompson.

UCONN 67 - GU 52...
UCONN gets off to a quick start, and it will be hard for us to catch up...
But because of UCONN's aggressive, overplaying, man-to-man defense, we'll get some nice back-door lay-ups...
But cold-shooting and the double-teaming of our big men will hurt us...

I don't expect that we'll have a slow start. Thus far, in most every big game, including Illinois, we have been quick out of the blocks and seem to hit a lull toward the end of the first half and coming out of the locker room.

72-67 Hoyas.
Why Not Us? Why Not Now?
(Better yet, leave that as a rhetorical question!)

72-67 Hoyas. Why Not Us? Why Not Now? Good questions... Just not our time... (I know you weren't seeking an answer...)

aggypryd: " If we had Raymond Felton, it would be our time. " Felton would be a nice addition...but I like the Hoyas' future with Wallace...:-) I think the coaching is there and the talent is much better... But I noticed against Illinois that we just lack maturity and bulk... One thing I was really impressed with was the defensive intensity and fundamentals...haven't seen that in years... I would love to get a chance at that same Illinois team next year...

Well, we'll definitely get that shot, only it will be changed by the graduating and incoming classes for both teams.

I'm expecting this team to grow and to become really comfortable with this offense... I'd be very surprised if they lost to Illinois next year... I'm not expecting them to be 'World-Beaters' next year...but I'm expecting some Big Wins...

Come on Cam, lets have some optimism. The only pain I'm hoping for, is the pain in Terd Calhoun's face when he loses to us.

I think we fall 70-58. Still, isn't it nice to think that worst case scenario we'll be 1-1 after playing at Pitt and vs UConn?
I hope I'm shocked again because suddenly we'll be on everyone's radar with a win...

You think I meant pain for the Hoyas? Let me edit: Prediction? Pain. For UConn.
Happy?

hoyas 70 uconn 67
hoyas will exploit weak guard play. get out to an early lead and add to the pressure already on this team.
