As far as the East Stands go, 'case, I think the plan is temporary stands for the football season, then begin construction on permanent east stands after that. If they aren't done by lax season, they can always play up on Kehoe until construction is finished and the teams can then move back down to MSF.
Someone please correct me if this ain't right...

Not sure about the timeframe for the East stands, but as far as the West roadway, the plan is a full sized road that will run about 15-20 yards west of where the old one was, allowing space for the MSF. The current construction/demolition has taken down a piece of the retaining wall along the Yates/Kehoe hill, so the road itself will probably be straighter than the old version, continuing up to the Leavey Ctr and Lombardi Cancer Ctr.

THB - UP to the Leavy center (esplanade) or DOWN and around to Lombardi?

Straight through to Lombardi -- once you reach the Leavey Center, the current road will stand. What's happening is they are shifting the piece of road that held to the previous fence along Harbin Field, and moving that piece west, but once you get to the Leavey center area it will connect to the original road, that runs between Leavey and the Yates retaining wall.

If so, that's a lot of dirt that has to be moved. I see Yates sliding into Lot B like the coast of California when The Big One hits.
