Yo Bobby B... change some things around...Keith Allan is 0-3...Crawford is 1-0, our D is not bad at all.... We are Georgetown, the best school in this league., we have the athletes, we get the recruits... As a former player I think Georgetown University may want to put a little more focus on their coaches, lets pay some money out and get some high caliber coaches.

I'm not a huge Crawford fan but saying something like that is absolutely ridiculous.

Our WRs might be the worst in the history of 1-AA, however.

All I can say for sure is that we could definitely use Luke McArdle right now, and some better blocking by the O-line.

the bottom line is that gtown is going to have some difficulty picking up another win this season if they keep playing like this.

Our statistics are probably pretty close to being the worst in 1-aa history, but the credit belongs to the offense as a group.
Darnell, get a clue.

This is absolutely rediculous! I have been a huge hoya football fan since graduating a few years ago, and I will always be one, but what is going on with the offense? This Uzelac guy sounds like he doesn't have a clue what he's doing! I watched the Lafayette game and GU's offense was completely 1-demensional. I thought Allen looked horrendous in that game, his stats were the worst that I have ever heard of last week vs. duquesne, and they are nearly as bad this week. What does Uzelac have against Crawford? Clearly, Keith may be better in practice, but wow is he horrible on the field. If he is not replaced I call for a player revold!

Up through the Lafayette game I didn't have a huge problem with the play calling. That game was a pure defensive battle that was bound to turn on a mistake. With an inexperienced QB, it was working to play conservatively. The Hoyas stayed in the game because Lafayette insisted on passing and turned it over a couple of times. The game blew up on Georgetown when that punt went dead inside the 5. We had to try something and it backfired.
Having said that, I cannot defend the last two games. These guys look completely different than they did in the scrimmages. Sure, that was against their own defense, but that defense is pretty strong. If the talent is there, then you must turn to the coaches. It may be time for Coach Benson to do something dramatic. I don't know what it is, but I gotta believe he's working on it right now as I type this. I'll be there Saturday and I'll be cheering.

the "most popular" school, not the best school. Excuse me? Go perform a comparative analysis of PL schools in terms of undergraduate admissions selectivity as measured across a variety of indices, destinations/career path of graduates, scholarly publications of faculty, etc. Once you have some basis in fact on which to post, then maybe your posts will have some content worthy of consideration.

gtown is easily the best PL school. I would assume Colgate is #2.

Georgetown University is the best and most popular school in the partiot league...Just look at any of the college rankings and we are a lot higher than any other school in this league

Everyone has so much to say about Keith Allen, but it all sounds like a witch hunt. I've been to the games and I have not seen much of anything BECAUSE BENSON DOESN'T LET HIM PASS!!!!!!! Yeah....now put Crawford in & surprise, surprise.... he QB for VMI... they have the worst record & Benson calls for plays today that we never saw before!!! I thought there was a new coach! ......GO FIGURE!!!! Can't wait to see the next game! I will not be surprised when Crawford gives a repeat performance as last season!!!

Take it easy, no reason to damper the mood with your negativity. We just dominated a team (regardless of their record) on homecoming and people are feeling a little better.
Drew has started twice, I must admit against very weak teams, but we have won those games, Let's see what happens on Oct. 23rd before we start bashing Mr.Crawford. I'm not saying that he'll play well in the next game, but let's at least give him a shot.

drew........coming from a current player, you played at an extreme level of excellence today. I agree. I understand some of the points other people are trying to make, but the fact is that Crawford has played very well in the 2 games he has started. Let's give him a chance to succeed in the n ext game before we start blaming coaches and play-calling and saying the Keith Allan still deserves to start. Give Crawford a chance to finish his career as a winner, I think he can do it if he plays his best and let's give him that opportunity. (And if we have to go in another direction for any reason I think we should try Cangelosi) Good Luck Drew, Prove all the haters wrong! HOYA SAXA!!!
