Did you lick lead paint while living under power lines and getting dropped on your head repeatedly as a child?

Pitt takes out Oklahoma St. 85-68. Decent non-conference win for the BE.

L'ville down 9 at half. This team is going to sink fast.

Louisville looks awful (although coming back a bit), but I did not realize Tom O'Connor, Mason's AD was chair of the selection committee this year. He was on with Lundquist and Packer and mentioned how he was happy to see big time teams going on the road to mid majors- can't hurt GU to have played at ODU and against William and Mary, both in CAA. Still don't love the schedule, but that is a positive for the Hoyas.

Louisville is now out of the Top 25. The Cards will have to regroup like the Hoyas did last season.

True, MCI, but at least we had the proverbial parts, they just needed to be fitted together properly--Louisville has huge positional holes. Gonna be tough for them.

Niagra 77 St. Johns 73
The redmen led most of the time but squandered it at the end
EDIT: on another note WVU dominated UMBC as expected

You guys are giving up on Louisville too soon---if you remember after Hoyas beat them in Louisville last year--most expected them to go to the NIT and thought they were "done". By end of year--they were 2nd hottest team in league behind Hoyas--so remember it's a long season and how you finish is as important--if not more then how you start. This isn't CFB and playing tough games-against a well coached and tough defensive team like Purdue will help Cards. BYU is a very good team--and one I wouldn't like to see in NCAA's--big, tough, and good passing team, and A-10 is vastly improved as a conference this year. I just focus on Hoyas--and then as season progresses view the other leagues as: 1. Who peaked too soon 2. Who is coming on If you focus on GU--rest takes care of itself--but don't sleep on any opposing team--especially one that has a good non conference schedule and has roster problems due to injury--and Caracter issues--and no that isn't a typo.

For thosewho may not have yet heard. Syracuse won big tonight , but not without sustaining a potential loss. Devendorff hurt his knee badly, was helped of the court, and latest news is he may miss a substantial part, if not the rest, of the season.
Also, Boeheim announced in the post game presser that Josh Wright would no longer be part of the team.

I'll take the high road on this one

DePaul lost to a team called the Illinois Chicago Flames. That sounds like a minor league WNBA team for goodness sakes.
The Flames are in the Horizon League and led by some guy named Mayo but not the Mayo that one could excuse DePaul for losing to a team with him on the roster.
Did I mention DePaul was at home?

What's up with Wright?
