That's awesome, just saw this and was about to post it.
I really like how the rivalry is being acknowledged once again. Maybe it will really start to get some national attention rather than cuse-uconn.
Gotta love Roy on the cover for a second straight year. He would crush that little rat behind him.
Also, Roy's upper body looks more ripped than ever in that picture. At first I thought it was just his head on some huge guys chest. Looks like the weight he lost and the extra muscle he put on has really paid off.

I would be worried about the SI Cover curse, except for the fact that Hibbs and Wallace appeared on the cover of a regional edition of the season preview issue, and I think we did ok last yr.

Is it me or is anyone else not sold on UT as the 3rd best team in the country. If they have an off night from 3, they get blown out. Its not just you. Why SI thinks UT is better than Memphis, Kansas, us is beyond me. I see them around LVille or Indiana's talent level. A very good team but not top 3. |

Well they already look pretty dumb with USC at 15 and Kentucky at 20 after those two teams got beat badly by the atlantic sun.

Am I the only one who thinks these covers look incredibly cheesy? Virtually all of the covers feature rather awkward poses and some even looked to be photshoped together. Last year's cover wins in a landslide

So Love and Mayo could have been together, but not Roy and Evendorf. |
