Are the Illini and Hoosiers truly historical rivals, or is that a lead for an article about Sampson the D. Bag stealing Eric Gordon?

Forget Devendorf, I think Roy's head's superimposed on someone else's body. Good point. Why is his neck so short? And what is that face he's making? Did they snap a picture of him on the can?

thinking the same thing as a few of you...It definitely looks like Roy's body has been photoshopped somehow. It looks really strange.

Congrats to Big Roy! I'm so glad he's still on campus.

Looks like they took a lousy studio photo of Roy and put it with a cut out game picture of the Dorf. Doesn't hold a candle to last year's awesome cover.
The good news is that the Georgetown-Cuse rivalry is getting national attention. For a while the rivalry sort of seemed like a one-way street - we hated Cuse, but outside of fans with long memories Cuse didn't really seem to hate us. Now it seems like a 2-way street again, and this cover will only help that.

No. What's the need to keep it under wraps?

No. What's the need to keep it under wraps? Like most things to do with financial aid/money in general, I guess the staff feels that it's none of our business. Which, I suppose, it isn't.

Are the Illini and Hoosiers truly historical rivals, or is that a lead for an article about Sampson the D. Bag stealing Eric Gordon? Kinda, both schools have other rivalries that in the past have been of greater importance but there is history between IU and UI and its definately the "hot" rivalry in the midwest right now. Illinois in recent years has made a great push to "up" its academic profile, which has caused many Illinois high school students (like the majority of my graduating class) to leave the state in favor of other big ten schools especially Indiana and Iowa (easy to get into, pretty cheap). And where there is familiarity there is contempt, not to mention Bloomington and Champaign/Urbana are pretty close to each other. Throw in Sampson's dirty ways and you got yourself a rivalry, to hell with them both

I would like to know, as well as numerous other posters. The way I see it, schools have to report the student athletes on scholarship per season to the NCAA. Why not use that to end the scholarship speculation? I don't see the need to keep it under wraps. At least, I know JTIII is managing the situation to the best of his ability and to the best of the program.
