I think we'll go to Ball State. I think we'll thump them by 35 points and then get the hell out of there.
And if we're worried about security, there are two "viable" solutions:
1. Enough Georgetown fans show up to SWAMP Muncie. 2. A DPS Chariot escort

I think we'll go to Ball State. I think we'll thump them by 35 points and then get the hell out of there. I see two viable options for how to play the game: 1. Play all starters for the whole game... absolutely no Spann/Saed/Kenny substitutions at the end. 2. Do not even dress the starters. Allow our second and third teams to destroy their first team.

1. I guarantee that none of Spann, Sead or Kenny will play in this game, as none of them will be on the team this year.
2. It would be interesting to see if a team of Chris Wright, Austin Freeman, Tyler Crawford, Nikita Mesheriakov and Vernon Macklin could beat Ball State, with Jeremiah Rivers and Omar Wattad coming off the bench (or maybe Rivers starts, either way, the question isn't changed much).

2. would be very interesting, but I would also like to see the hurt that PE Jr would put on BSU.

We should play it just like we would have if Ronny had not resigned.

I think the UConn game last year should be a good guide on how JTIII is going to approach the Ball State game; its a game we should win but he'll leave the starters in much longer just to make sure there is no chance we can loose, not as much to run up the score.

We should play it just like we would have if Ronny had not resigned. Agreed. I don't really think we should be gunning for a statement with this game.

We shouldn't let them score until the second half.

It is the middle of August. Let's at least wait until the season starts before entering uber-serious mode. And SF, yes, I understand what happens after players transfer or graduate. I should have said "Spann/Sead/Kenny-TYPE substitutions."

Please send me the memo so I can be better informed next time, oh wise one.

I think we should play that 4 person lineup without a shooting guard. Sure, it'll get us 9-9 in the BE, but I bet it beats Ball State by 20 points.
I'm glad I snuck this one in before the 3pm deadline.

Btw, whose normal business hours are from 10am to 3pm? - I think most people on this board have progressed past the day shift at Kinkos, I mean we don't have Syracuse degrees.

I'm in agreement with the man from Zevon-land. Who are this year's Spann/Saed/Kenny/Hillyer subs anyway? Has the program reached a point where the talent is good enough not to elicit mass hysteria when the last man is let off the bench?

If you'll read the post itself, it very clearly calls you out for being a wet blanket during the middle of the summer. Wierd how you only disputed the timetable part. (ohhh snap)
