Best believe other recruits are taking notice and would want to play with him. Care to elaborate? I'm thinking nick smith jr, Whitmore, Watson and Oweh(Team Final guard) from nj

Lure in Watson and keep Nick Smith Jr in your crosshairs and this 2022 will be a monster.

I also think the new transfer rule helps Gtown immensely because they'll always be dmv kids who may wanna transfer back home. local recruiting needs to be shored up. As long as we land at least one 4/5 star every cycle that should be the benchmark.

I wish we had a recruiting hold on local kids like Memphis does with their local kids.

You have zero basis to say he “stabbed us in the back.” We have zero knowledge on what happened behind the scenes for this recruitment, or how interested the staff was near the end for that matter. Oh yeah? Well why didn't he pick Georgetown? He said Georgetown was his dream school, right? Didn't Georgetown try to recruit him? Weren't they at many of his games? So what was the problem? What is the problem with the Rice recruitment? Nobody has time for these high school kids to wait to see how many blue blood offers they get. Same thing with the kid that chose Michigan over us and now he's riding the bench and Frankie will be too. I am glad staff is turning away from these recruits after wasting so much time on them. You, like so many of you Hoyatalk dudes want us to believe it is the staff fault as to why we don't get these recruits. Sometimes and probably most of the time, the recruit is waiting on a better offer and is not being genuine about the local schools. The staff tried with these guys and now itbis time to move on. Point blank, we ain't got time to wait for these guys to decide if they want to choose us. We wind up loosing out on someone else more worthy. Thank you! That was an eloquent speech. Well said.

They’ve been at almost every game he’s played this summer so clearly someone isn’t following up the way they should… yeah I agree...he even acknowledged how long the staff had been recruiting him....he hasn't even scheduled a visit to Gtown. I think thats more on Maryland

I will not be totally disappointed if we get Rowan and not get Anglin although if I could only get one, I rather have Denver Anglim. Besides either of the two if we land one of them, we have to get a small forward. It is a must! So if we achieve getting that small forward via the high school level or the transfer level, we have got to pull that off. It seems we may be getting too guard heavy and thus making our team a very small team. This is Georgetown and ain't nobody got time for that! I wonder if the staff thinks both Denver and Rowan can both work in the backcourt together?

Does anyone know how many scholarships we have available for the 2022 recruiting class?

There are easily a dozen or more kids that are showing interest in the Hoyas that we would all be extremely happy to have commit to the program. Here’s hoping someone takes the leap soon. I agree it's refreshing to see recruits interested. Us winning the BE Title has made us a destination again. The Thompson Center will rep great benefits going forward.

So many recruits want to visit the Hilltop. It's exciting to see. In the end...I trust the end result of the 2022 class will be a fruitful one!

The current state of our Hoya Program...I feel like we are trending up. I think all of us were overjoyed in winning our BE record 8th championship. We have alot to offer/sell to recruits;brand recognition, facilities. We have the best jersey collection in the country. The Thompson Center will really be instrumental going forward in terms of recruiting and basketball legacy. I definitely see us winning some/more regular season/tournament championships in the Ewing era. #HoyaResurgence

Perhaps Mintz saw Nick Smith Jr's photos of his visit and realized he'd better commit soon lol.

Sounds about right. BE returning top talent while getting young talent...it wouldn't surprise me metrics wise that the conference is the overall best next season.

Too early to make assumptions like that imo. First evaluation period hasn’t even started yet. Exactly...Hilltop didn't even need to tweet about that. He respectfully should have kept that thought to himself. Recruiting is long winding, twists and turns. Practice patience
