The only shinning light is Mourning ( a younger Sims), who can pick and pop with his nice stroke and will be able to drive to the basket. He just needs to get stronger.

It is also very frustrating to see our players running like crazy for the backdoor cuts over and over without result. Everybody in the Big East knows about our predictable offensive scheme, passing the ball from side to side (for at least 20-25 seconds) without no body penetrating into the lane for either getting foul or creating an open shot for others.

Georgetown basketball games are unwatchable. The system does not work anymore in the Big East. The last time this system work was when Sims was a senior. Sims will either drive to the basket or will shoot from the elbow. So what does JT III did this year without a center with those skills, he did nothing different. You can see that every time the center try the pick and roll the opposing defender will sag from our player and clog the lane. Again this is unwatchable . I do not see JT III changing anything for next year or the years to follow. Every year we are all excited to see something different in the style of play, and then we are all complaining that the system does not change. Again the more we wait for real change, the more difficult is going to be for Georgetown basketball.

In todays basketball , good players leave in or three seasons. JT III offense takes forever to learn, that is why we are in the position that we are. When we finally have a player that feels confortable with the system he is ready to jump to the NBA. And we are left with this debacle. 24 TO against Butler was not a fluke, most of these TO happen while running our system. Butler knew where the ball was going at everytime, like a broken record. It is not the players fault if they are following the coach system. Like I said before the players were anticipating the next pass from east to west. Things need to change and quickly.

You have no viable replacement because you are not willing to look for a replacement to begin with. It is obvious to me that JT III offensive and defensive schemes are a form from the past. Either he is willing to change , so far he has not or we need to hire a new coach. We can't continue playin this style of basketball. Why you think we do great against Duke or Maryland because they do not prepare for the Princeton offense. Look WHAT HAPPEN when we start the Big East everybody knows what we do. The even jump the passing lane on three point line because they know when the next pass goes.

The more you postponed the innevitable, going in a different direction, the worst is going to be for Georgetown basketball to compete. Season after season, we all talk about how JT III this coming year is going to change his offense to adapt to the new players. More athletic and better recruits. The season starts and we are all amaze how anything changes. How can you explain to me that all the coaches in the Big East selected us to be the number 2 team and we have finish 8 just in front of Depaul and St John. Something needs to change and quickly. If we continue in this trajectory we are not going to be able to recruit good basketball players or compete in any conference.

This is embarrassing , Marquette is the 8th youngest team in Div 1 and is given a basketball clinic to Georgetown . Why bother to show up for a game if you are not planning to play any defense. This team completely quit on JT III.

You all have to accept that JT III's system hindered player development. Our players don't improve dribbling , running fast breaks and penetrating into the paint. Today was an example, every Butler player could dribble and penetrate into the paint without any difficulties. I can not believe how all our players regress in their basketball skills during this system. Most of these players were top 100 recruits.

No way Chris Lykes or any other PG is coming to Georgetown to play this style of basketball.

No basketball IQ. In JT III's system the players play like robots, they forget how to penetrate, run a proper fast break they just pass the ball east to west for 25 seconds and then shoot for three. That is the disparity in fouls, Butler had 45 free throws against 24 for Georgetown. We need to go in a different direction. That is reason why we can not recruit a point guard. I really do not think that JT III knows what to do with a PG, the PG will be discourage to penetrate.

We were selected #2 team in this conference base on our players. We are going to finish number 8, this is embarrassing . Even Marquette finish better that us with a coach on his second year. Our players have shown no progress during this year, that is on JT III and coaching staff. Forget about Chris Lykes or any other good recruit, will be lucky if we can keep the players that we have. Again, I will not be surprise if some of our players transfer from Georgetown. This style of basketball suks.

If you can not win a basketball game on Senior day, JT III better find a new job. A whole week to prepare, this is embarrassing. I can imagine what is going on DSR's mother watching this debacle. I think that DSR wasted a whole year staying at Georgetown. When he looks back at this year, he will regret not going pro last year.

I have no idea what the team did for the whole week. They don't play defense and the offense is atrocious. I have never seen a Georgetown team so unprepared.

We are looking to break a record in turnovers for a half. This is so bad.

A whole week off, I think they practice how to turn the ball over and over. This is embarrassing. And you all think that PG will like to play this terrible style of basketball. Six turnovers already.
