I recall watching Pallotti almost beat a loaded DeMatha team in the 1998 WCAC Championship with Dave Morris going into slow-down mode. It happens in HS.

That would certainly help!

When I see him, I see a Big East athlete, if not a special one. He needs to work very hard, but he could contribute.

Please play with heart and win this one. For once in the last few years, it would be nice for the fans to have a decent BET experience and have some fun toward the end of the year. A second-round match-up with a hobbled 'Nova would provide that. Tough it out and beat the Warriors!

Not acknowledging Bile's potential disregards Ewing's foresight about and development of a player as a coach. If he wasn't any good, Ewing wouldn't have played him. People thought they knew better than Ewing who kept playing Bile earlier in the season. Ewing saw something in Bile and that made some flabbergasted about it. They preferred to give freshmen minutes for no reason other than stars next to their name and/or "next year". Not only was Ewing right in his assessment, Bile has blossomed enough as a player to earn the right to start. Notice the word earn, not given. Not only that, there is hope for the program with this turn around. Hope for...wait for it....next year. That is coaching. That is development. That is the mark of a good player. Give credit to Coach Ewing and Bile where credit is due. Well...just "maybe" Bile was torching folks in practice, and Ewing had the audacity to give him ten games to come around?

Clear out and let Harris bring it up against pressure as much as possible. We have too many players clogging up the backcourt.
Carey only can play so many minutes in this one- he has tough matchups on both ends. We may need to steal a few minutes from Sibley.
Bile has to be smart and stay out of foul trouble- easier said that done.
Likewise, we need smart play from Q and Timmy inside, while also really fighting for boards.
I think we throw different people at Bouknight. Make him earn his points on contested threes, stepbacks, and from the line. No easy baskets near the hoop. Go up against him strong with two hands and make solid contact- nothing dirty, just old-school basketball.
How much do we want it? I look forward to finding out.

Right on. It is borderline sickening to come here to read stuff by so-called fans mining deep for extra salt to throw in open wounds. That is just not necessary.

I want to see bodies flying around and no easy buckets for You Con! We lost the toughness battle last game against them and cannot let that happen on Saturday.

1 Harris 2 Aminu 3 Sibley 4 SRD/ transfer/ Bile if he returns 5 Q
With solid contributions from Beard, Riley, Timmy, Clark, Berger, Ryan, and hopefully others...
The notion that Harris will play six minutes a game next year is right up there with the idea that we will play in a hovering spacecraft.

Where are those who called him a wasted recruit/ addition to the team? Can we say with confidence that Ewing can evaluate talent pretty well?

Yeah- having two physically imposing centers is unique and a huge plus.

He had two offensive rebounds on one play yesterday, which is outstanding.

Plus he is a physical presence who provides some old-school Hoya muscle and toughness- which is great. I was glad to see him mix it up with Xavier last night. We have backed down for way too long.

With more minutes, he could provide 5-8 points and rebounds per game off the bench. Throw in some blocked shots, lots of changed shots, and less fouls, and we would be cooking!

I love Timmy, and he provides exactly what you want from a backup center. He also has tons of room for improvement that I think legitimately could happen over the next two years.
