Alright, I emailed the author and he emailed me the link for the article... connecticut.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=539414You need a rivals membership to read it, so anyone with a membership, could you let the rest of us know what it says?

Anyone know if they've posted the top frosh list? I can't seem to find it on the website.

Wonder where this chatter was coming from? NBA GMs hoping Green would make the jump? Unfounded speculation from "talking heads"? As far as I had heard there was never any doubt Jeff was coming back

There's been talk that even Oden may stay two years so let's not get carried away thinking Mack and Summers are 1 and done...Macklin looks to be a LOOOONG way from NBA ready despite his obvious RAW talent

Saw this in today's Sports Guy NBA Playoff preview and I couldn't help but note the relevance.
"You know those college cities where the townies detest the rich kids from campus, or a multi-college city where the kids from the lesser-respected college openly loathe the kids from the well-respected college a few miles away? That's how the Clippers fans feel about the Lakers fans. Pure hatred."
YUP, there it is in a nutshell

Yes and no, maybe Leinart (I know its a different sport) will start a trend. Didn't Bogut stay 4 years?

If Jeff and Roy stay for 4, can't u see him sliding into the starting 5 with Wallace, PE2/Mack/Summers, Jeff and Roy quite nicely?!

Scoop Jackson (who i normally can't stand) gives Roy not Jeff some love too:
"LaMarcus Aldridge (Texas, if he stays), Roy Hibbert (Georgetown), Patrick O'Bryant (Bradley) and Glen Davis (LSU) will battle Noah for the "junior big man of the world" title (not to mention UConn's Rudy Gay, who might be the preseason player of the year if Adam Morrison doesn't return to Gonzaga). And every team full of non-seniors is going to come at Florida like the Gators stole something."

I couldn't believe it when I saw it on ESPN.com this morning. Just another example of how sports is not just always about wins and losses. A tragic day all around. Time to put all rivalries aside. Thoughts and prayers with the Dixon family.

I disagree that DO has better skills than BB. BB has NBA length size and quickness. He's just unbelievably inconsistent. I think he may be scarred from his first two year at GTown. I think he's got a shot as a 2nd rounder.

Any one concerned that he is taking DC talent? Even if they are 1 and done? Does that mean kids like Macklin and Freeman will be in Huggy's sights in the future? God I hope not

I have to say, I am surprised by the vehemence on both sides of the arguments here (esp. those against this idea). We are talking about some pretty good teams in this Jesuit Tourney here. Should we also go get a home and home against another top 10-15 team, ABSOLUTELY. If these Jesuit schools can get rid of some of the awful teams we play, then we will be improving. We don't want to create an impossible schedule (like Izzo did a few years back at MSU when they started really slowly). Playing Duke, Kansas, UNC, MSU etc. etc. all in the same year does not give your incoming players a chance to utilize the offense at game speeds, nor does it allow returners to get sharp. Part of the early OOC schedule it to tune up. Its damn near impossible to tune up against a top 15 teams. Also, our in conference RPI will be higher in years to come as well b/c we will play a tougher mix of BE teams. The

I didn't think 5000-7000 was less than move in day considering that only 1600 frosh start each year. Also anyone know what the minimum # of seats an arena can have a still be Big East compliant?
