I agree though with Joe. What have we done to earn anything more than that? We have 1 quality loss and one loss that should've been a win. Even the win at Oregon could turn out to be ho hum. Hard to argue at this point. Again WAY WAY WAY too early to panic. We still need to show up in the Big East to make the dance.

Do you know, will there be an Illinois contingent at Gamekeeper's tonight? I only ask because of the BIG NEON ILLINI LOGO they have in their window. I'll be ready to throw down in case things get unruly.

Anyone else think that ESPN should incorporate these "all time" teams into its next basketball video game, or make it a new game unto its own?

Apparently with all that height we still would need braswell for a desperation heave at the end of regulation!

If any of you have ESPN Insider check out the chat transcript with Scoop Jackson from yesterday...he actually makes sense in it and talk about Gtown a bunch

Maybe throw Page and Sweets in there on the bench for some back court flexibility and another big body to bang up front (altho you are prob pretty set with the big 3)

Page 2 did a mock bracket assembling all star teams for each college and then ranking them. sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=hoops/tournament/indexHoyas Roster: Starters: C Dikembe F Ewing F Morning G Iverson G Sleepy Floyd Bench: G/F Reggie Williams F Michael Graham That's a sick team and Page 2 has us as #4 all time behind: #1 UCLA #2 UNC #3 LSU Hard to argue with those rankings...maybe you could argue we should be #3. Cool idea on ESPN's part. It will be interesting to see how this plays out and who they have winning it.

HA...I'm pretty sure that was the only time we were on SportsCenter during those 3 years...gotta say Esh's firing landed us our sole appearance on PTI so he was good for something

The Center for Student Programs purchased Inflatable Jack. It is for use at most school wide events (Traditions Day, Georgetown Day, SAC Fair, GAAP Weekend, Midnight Madness...you get the picture)...and god, I'm not sure Esh loving me is a good thing...in fact I am fairly certainly its not

Well, after months reading the board, acquainting myself with the flow of the banter, I decided now is as good a time as any to register and start posting. To give a little background, I graduated in '04 from the college. On the Hilltop I was pretty involved with student activities, running GPB and Georgetown Day and, as a "lasting legacy", orchestrated the school's purchase of the 20' tall inflatable Jack the bulldog.
Ok, enough with the boring bio stuff. I transferred in to Gtown the year after the Sweet 16 run, so me and my fellow transfers caught the 3 WORST years of Hoya basketball in recent memory. Talking with a bunch of them, the excitement around not only this season but the overall direction of the program is outstanding. Out here in Chicago alums are buzzing not only about the arrival of one Mr. Sweetney, but about the upcoming season and the smack down we are going to lay on some local teams. So I look forward to posting with you all in the future and HOYA SAXA
