For some reason, FIOS has stock car racing on FS1. Game was switched to channel 1498 which has sound but no picture! FOX. Not Fox Sports 1.

Dante rattling Z! Take that. Z looking like end of the bench player not all BE when Dante covers him. Dante and Juggy both making Zegorowski work much harder than he usually has to. That has to continue for the Hoyas to prevail.

You guys would’ve been irate if that Carey 3 didn’t go in. I still can’t believe he took it. Just this side of the Lincoln Tunnel.

You cannot fall asleep. We expect more of you than that. I was tired, I couldn't help it. I usually get a nap but this time I didn't and fell asleep right before the game started. We'll let it go...this time.

What an uplifting, heart pounding, joyous end of the season run. Only one thing left to do. Dance. It's so long since I looked for my dancing shoes. Have to dust them off first.

Many of my early season posts cited my astonishment that a team coached by Patrick Ewing was playing so poorly defensively. That has changed since the COVID-19 break. And I'd be remiss to not post that this team has been much, much better defensively.
That being written, Marcus Zegarowski can take over a game single-handedly. He carried Creighton across the finish line over the last few minutes. It's going to take a combination of defensive looks to rein him in. And the way the Hoyas are playing right now, they can do it.
A different player has had a break-out game in each of the tournament contests so far. I'm thinking that it's Chuddy Bile's turn tonight.

Just spent a few minutes perusing the UConn board, the-boneyard.com, after the Huskies' loss to Creighton.
Very disconcerting...they are, almost unanimously, openly rooting for Ewing and the Hoyas, and showing us great respect.
I feel like I've stumbled into a parallel universe.

Dante is fearless. Unlike some of our past PGs who looked as though they'd rather not be handling the ball at crunch time, he clearly relishes the opportunity to put his stamp on the game. And he just keeps on doing it. A joy to watch develop.

It may have taken longer than we all hoped but Jamorko was the player we all thought he could be tonight. That was an epic 40 min performance on both ends. Congrats to the young man. He and Blair deserve to taste some success after sticking out 4 trying years with the program. "Epic" is spot on. The Jamorko Pickett we saw tonight, and for whom we've been waiting, is the same Jamorko Pickett who (in may opinion, so feel free to flame me) can wind up on an NBA roster.
