Just taking a quick look at the rosters, very interesting that they split up the frosh this year.
Tombs: JWall, Macklin, Chris Wright, and Nikita
Clydes: Ewing, Rivers, Freeman, and Wattad
M&A: Summers
Electro-Lite: Crawford, Sapp
While I like the potential of both of the GU-heavy squads, Myers & Alterman could be the favorite going in, at least offensively, by pairing up Dajuan with Folarin Campbell and Louis Birdsong (as well as a Mason frosh class that includes two 1st-team All-Met players).

Interesting, but it makes sense. This is the first year in my experience that the Hoyas have a position focused class in my experience. If you put Freeman, Wright, Nikita and Omar on the same team, you couldn't really put another guard on there, and even then there'd still be a crunch for playing time. Though, I think it's interesting that the two big guards (Rivers & Freeman) and the two small guards (Rainmaker & Wright) are on the same teams.

while Rivers and Freeman are physically bigger than Wright and JW, it makes sense from a position standpoint. Clearly, JTIII wants Rivers and Wright to be the primary ball handler for their teams and Austin 3:16 and JW to be the snipers off the ball. with Jessie and Tyler in the mix, looks like Omar and Nikita will get to start their Hoya careers at the 3 while they work on their ball-handling (and wait for Jon and Jessie to graduate). without knowing the other rosters, I have to think that the Tombs is probably the early favorite.

Like it. 1-2-3-4 with two returners and two freshmen for the first two teams. Should give us a good look at the new guys,

Silly question, but Are these games televised? I believe Kenner is in negotations with MASN8, "the OCHO" for broadcast rights.

Negotiations??? its 4 days away, how am I supposed to set up my Tivo?? You see, Joey, there is no MASN8 "the OCHO". It's a rather funny reference to an otherwise rather unmemorable movie - Dodgeball. You see, the joke is funny because it would be ridiculous for MASN to have 8 channels. Just as it would be ridiculous for the network to be negotiating for the broadcasting rights to a sporting event 4 days before the event. Just as it would be ridiculous for you to ask the question in the first place.

lol.......MASN8 the Ocho live from Yates, Kehoe, and McDonough 24 hours a day except Friday & Saturday nights when they air live Beer Pong matches from around the Georgetown Campus.
If its almost a sport at Georgetown, they air it!

What do you think is the rationale for sticking Summers out there all by his lonesome on the M&A team?

Just throwing out an idea, but anyone else think that the Tombs starting backcourt could be the Hoyas new starting backcourt?
