Since there is not much difference in the guys available from 3 to 12 or so, one of the 3-6 teams with urgent needs (such as the Celtics) will trade down with some mid lottery team who wants Brandon Wright or another supposedly high-upside player. They could probably get a useful NBA player for trading down and still have a shot at Jeff Green.

I'm biased because I'm a celtics fan, but I think there's a significant chance he goes to Boston at 5 because they don't want to get younger, they want more of an experienced player, which means either brewer, horford or Green most likely. I really think Green is going to get into workouts and some teams are just going to fall in love with him once they realize all the skills he has. I've seen him make 8-10 NBA range threes in a row in warmups, so I think he'll shoot well in workouts and then coupled with him being 6'9 and athletic NBA teams will realize that he's pretty unique.

Supposedly Jeff is not athletic--I'd like to know what the people who downgrade his athletic ability watch--didn't see many guys do what he did against Boston College--at any level and that is plenty athletic--or the steal and coast to coast with James Worthy-like finish.
It's just another case of a player being a bit more talented then he often shows--due to fact he plays within the system--that is not uptempo or flashy--I will take the Hoyas system of play and how they win--(although the version where we stand and play hot potato on outside is for the birds) and let guys show their skills for the next level--if you can't see Jeff, Roy, DaJuan can all play, then there isn't much necessity in continuing a conversation and that is why NBA "Mock" pundits don't work in the NBA.

even though though don't have a pick. He'd be perfect in the Suns offense. I say he goes to the Knicks at 9. Oh wait... they traded their pick for Eddie "friggin" Curry!! I hope he stays in the east also. He'll be much better on an established playoff team. Thank you Isiah Thomas, but I'm not sure if the Bulls will pick him up. If Roy had stayed in I would have expected them to take him, but now I'm not sure if they'll want Jeff. It depends on if they make the effort to keep Andres Nocioni, because if he leaves that could open up room for Jeff, and I would myself with gladness if that happened.
