visiting dr. kings museum tops my list, but after that, i have no clue
thanks in advance

I hear they have a pretty good strip club. Might have been in the news or something.
Might get to meet Patrick Ewing Jr.'s dad if you make the trip.

Sights to See
World of Coke - its like a museum but just about coke. A good family friendly stop - it gets packed during big weekends like this.
Underground Atlanta - right next to WoC - has some good shopping - as the name would indicate its underground.
Cyclorama - just joking its boring as hell
MLK's gravesite - depressing, but a good historical visit
Carter Center - depressing and boring
Stone Mountain - creepy, its like Confederate Disneyland. Fun game to play that can last for hours - go through the parking lot every non-southern license plate gets a point first person to 2 wins.
Food
The Varsity - drive-in, get a chili-dog, get yelled at - good times
Sun Dial Restaraunt - upscale, rotates 360 degrees with great views of downtown
Athens Pizza - (note: i moved out of ATL a long time ago - does this place still exist) - best Pizza I've ever had.
Brewhouse Cafe - In Little Five Point has a ton of beer and tons of games on.
Fighter 57 - A restaraunt that looks like a WWII officers club - very cool place to take kids as they get to watch local aircraft at a private airport take off and land.
Nightlife
Opera - used to be Eleven50 - should be opening this week - a gigantic club.
Verve - multilevel nightclub like a nicer non-sketchy version of Dream - in SoNo.
Tongue and Groove - in Buckhead - an amazing club, has been around forever

MJQ off Ponce de Leon. Fun club but it depends on your appetite. It is literallly underground. For a strange club experience, check out the Claremont Lounge. It is in the basement of a bottom barrel hotel. Sometimes they have really good bands and the juxtaposition of overweight old strippers is priceless. I haven't lived there for almost ten years but those are both staples and near one another.
Little five points is interesting for those with wives who want to shop. Some bizarre vintage clothing stores are there and it is just down the road from the carter center. This would be a good Sunday activity.

Gold Club does not exist anymore.
I would recommend the aquarium, the CNN Studio tour, The Coke Museum, Centennial Park (Saturday and Sunday there will be concerts at Centennial Park by Ludacris, LL Cool J, Maroon 5, Bobby Valentino and others...and I'm pretty sure it is free), and the Cyclorama (if you like history). I think both the thrashers and hawks are in town if you need more sports as well.

Cheetah has succeeded the defunct Gold Club as the premier gentlemen's club in the city (reportedly?).
In the more innocent daytime fun category, the Georgia Aquarium is the best local attraction. Bernie Marcus spent a ton of money on it and it shows.

Columbia,
Little five points is good for shopping if you are looking for bongs and latex!
But I will say that the Claremont Lounge offers an experience like no other. Where else can you go for some beers, a band, dance to some music from a DJ, and watch a 60 year old stripper smash beer cans together with her bust?!?! There is no place quite like it!

I was with some girls who ordered the peach cobbler once. Memories are fuzzy, but I do know this: it got weird. Real weird.
