I still think things will flow our way if we can avoid dropping one of these next 3.
Also wouldn't want to be playing ND right now.

I think we should win the last 2 games, we have a great shot at the bye if we do.

So in order to get the BET bye we need to beat Cuse and USF. Plus, we need Pitt to lose to either WVU or Seton Hall, and we need Marquette to lose to ND, Louisville, or Providence. This is going to be a nail biter.

Just posting here to keep this highly useful site near the top. It might be a good move to pin this one for the next week.

what kind of tiebreaker will be used now for Uconn and Nova for who gets the 1 seed in the BET?

When teams split head-to-head, then you start traveling down the standings until one team gets an advantage. UConn beat Pitt and WVU, but lost to Marq. Nova didnt play Pitt, lost to WVU, beat Marq. Right now, Pitt is in third place, so UConn has the advantage. Unless, Marq ends up in 3rd or UCONN loses again this season, UConn will get the #1. But, as far as regular season title, they both get the honor.

Pitt doesn't matter - since Nova didn't play them that's irrelevant.
What matters is who finished higher: WV (who Nova last to) or Marquette (who UConn lost to)? Uconn wants WV to be ahead and Nova is rooting for Marquette.
I did the math last night and if WV wins tonight, even with a loss on Saturday, they'd be 3rd. (because of their strong record against any potential tiebreak teams: 2-0 vs. GU, 1-0 vs. Marquette, 1-1 vs. Pitt but would beat Pitt based on their Nova win).
So if WV wins tonight, it's likely to be Uconn, Nova, WV for 1-2-3 (assuming Uconn and Nova both win their last two).
I also have the full gamut of GU possibilities, but will wait until after the Pitt-WV game to post here because it's just too confusing otherwise.

It appears to me that we need two things... assuming we beat USF. 1. WVU needs to beat Pitt, in Morgantown (Revenge factor working for WVU) 2. Louisville at home, needs to be Marquette.
If those things happen, we tie with PITT at 11-5 and we have the tie-breaker. So we get the 4 seed and the bye.

You are ignoring another scenario:
Pitt beats WVU Cincy beats WVU
Seton Hall beats Pitt
Louisville or Providence beats Marquette
In that case: we tie Pitt at 11-5 for 3rd and take the tie breaker. WVU is 5th Marquette 6th

I'm pretty confident that WVU at home, on Senior Day, and looking for revenge from Snickerdoodle's worst game ever, will take Pitt. I'm much more confident of that than the chances of WVU going runner-runner L's to end the season.
Marquette is the problem, damn them. Louisville is the key game. They have to drop that one. They will not lose to Providence.
And there's still the matter of Georgetown fighting against a team trying to keep from going winless b/c USF has no chance ('that's what they got!") against UConn. Long as the Hoyas don't treat it as a Spring Break trip, they should be fine in that one though.

Is anyone else surprised that someone from West Virginia was able to come up with this web site? I'm not sure the numbers can be trusted...
