no commercials on the app, semi-interesting to hear the announcers set up what they'll be talking about when they resume.

Glad to see Coach bench Rowan twice in first 10 minutes of half. Sloppy with ball. Brings in Bacote. Brings Rowan back first play lazy pass that's almost a turnover. Back to the pine. Growing pains for a young player - but Rowan has to tighten up his ball security if he wants to be the PG of this team. So what do you do with Epps? A bunch of bad ball handling turnovers. Hope the light comes on soon regarding this aspect of his game. My novice 2 cents...needs to be playing more off the ball...hard when Rowan is playing poorly, no true backup PG and our lack of depth...but feels like he would bw much more effective coming off picks, setting up 3's for him...and then allowing his to distribute when needed...

I agree with that. And now he's up to 5 turnovers. And Brumbaugh back in the game.

I don’t think there is a ball handler on this team that you can trust right now.

Not passing judgement on his future and what he can be...but 4 games in Fielder has been very disappointing

Very nice pass from Styles! Impressed with how he's playing within the team concept while he has a hot hand

The young ball handlers on this team are better served at this point with offensive sets that start with the weave out top instead of one of them bringing the ball up and pounding it at the top of the circle. That just invites the trap, especially if the others stand still and don't keep moving.

Must find a way to clean up the turnovers. Way too careless with the ball.

Tough half for RB after a terrible Rutgers game. He needs a bounce back 2nd half

Right now if Rowan can't take care of the ball, he brings very little to the floor. I'd like to see Bacote get more minutes at the 1 until Rowan settles

Wasn't Heath's last shot a 3? Should be 44 points at half?
We are so screwed when the BE play begins. There must be someone on this team that can play pg.

It’s a 12 point lead and yet the horrible TOs make this feel like a game the Hoyas could lose. In fairness to Epps on a couple of his TOs his teammates give him no help and just stop moving. This team has to keep moving on offense and when they stop and start watching the PG it is never good. Agree that Fielder just seems lost out there and Cook offers little on offense so far.

Lots of warts, but a few positives too.
If Epps & Rowan are gonna both turn the ball over 5x per game, you've gotta sit Rowan some and let Epps make his mistakes. At least you'll get some offense.
We're getting close to a discussion about Bacote taking a chunk of those minutes until Brumbaugh gets a little more comfortable out there.

The way the Hoyas are throwing the ball away - 11 TOs at the half - I do not trust a 12 point lead. Could be a Holy Cross redux if they don't tighten up.

When Massoud is healthy I am not sure where Fielder finds minutes. I think getting Massoud back will be a huge lift for this team...no I don't think all of a sudden we are a contender in the BE...but Massoud back puts Fielder on the bench and then maybe our bench looks something like Heath, Bristol, Fielder (against second unit guys) and Mutumbo...at least there is a little more flexibility and hope there. I had really thought for next year you would want a veteran SG off the portal coming in but honestly a veteran PG is looking more critical...

OOC teams that play us get more confident as the game goes on mainly because they sense that we have no pg and by increasing defensive intensity that can beat us. Second half might get ugly unless someone can handle the ball.
