Epps dad was a walking bucket in high school What happened to him? Think he committed to UVA or was going to commit to UVA but didn’t have the grades

Man, Primo's finishing at the rim didn't seem as Akinjo like as it was. Epps is a stocky guard so I'm not surprised at his finishing ability. It didn’t seem like it but makes sense. Primos like the guard version of Wahab except as the PG Primo gets much more touches. Essentially he dribbles 10 times, spin move and if mid range isn’t open continues into the paint and by this time there are 3-4 defenders surrounding him in the paint making for a contested low percentage finish near the basket. Sure, but at least he's super consistent

Ed Cooley desperately needed to make a splash to start his tenure off with the Hoyas and that’s exactly what he did when he signed former Illinois point guard Jayden Epps.
Epps now has one year of college experience under his belt and he gets to play closer to his hometown of Charlotte. Epps is already known as a bucket getter, averaging 9.5 points per game. He also scored in double figures on 20 different occasions last season.
Epps comes into Georgetown with some knowledge of Ed Cooley. Epps originally committed to Providence when Ed Cooley was the head coach. Now, his move reunites the two as Cooley looks to turn Georgetown around.

3 years of eligibility. Top 100 kid last year. There’s your starting pg. Saw him take over an AAU game in a video against great players there was something about his temperament / skill that impressed me we'll see

Dangerous. Can score at the basket better.

Dangerous. Can score at the basket better. DSR could shoot the three. Epps has a ways to go in that regard. But certainly has a bunch of strong attributes.

DSR isn’t a great comp. As you noted, Epps is a better athlete, defender . DSR, at least from what we saw last year, a much more skilled offensive player. Epps was a low pct shooter and not great assists to TO. Of course he can always improve on that.

Love to see it!
Saw that CBS had Wake as preseason #6 in ACC, so no pushover.

I remember when HoyaBoya downplayed Jayden Epps. LOL! Not at all true. I said he won’t be here for more than 2 years, if that.
